I’m not complaining about it because i belive it’s a lost case, making them extend the pre-patch, i think it sucks big time, and 2 weeks isn’t remotely enough, but it’s tha cards we’ve been dealt. I speak up about the honor because i still belive it can be changed, or atleast i hope so.
Blizzard went from being my fav game company of all time to the worst and most hated company of all time. I was looking forward to tbc since 2009 when wotlk ended, hoping they would release it again one day. I was so hyped for tbc classic. But with the stupid nerf to honor and boosts + p2w mounts and the way blizzard ignores its playerbase it has killed the hype and i have not logged in 3 days now.
Are you seriously still on here talking about honor from Wins/Objectives?
We want honor gained from HKs to be fixed, we NEVER got 1-2 honor per kill back then REGARDLESS of what patch number you feel like comparing. Also, there was never any Diminishing Return on HKs like there is now.
But sure, keep posting your proof about Win/Objective numbers… I guess?
This clearly does not work properly. I got 324 honor on my character sheet (not the scoreboard), incl HKs, from winning an AB. That is not twice the honor and certainly not twice the honor again from an AB-weekend.
Sooooooo its gonna be 3AM , ridiculous to make EU wait 20hours for this when you nerfed instantly , i loved you some years ago, now you are ACTIVISION not blizzard, RIP
“You can expect that update with the next realm restarts in this region (soon).”
When you copy paste US-FORUM POST without even reading AHAHAHA
I don’t see the point in doing PvP now, you’re putting in a massive amount of time/effort for items that are quickly replaced and irrelevant in less than 2 weeks, it only really made sense when you could reasonably farm something worthwhile in an evening.
It may be correct to patch 2.4.3, but a tonne of other stuff was and got changed for the better of the game (or not but thats another topic). Current rate of honor just means less participation because it’s not worth doing, people would rather level an alt, farm gold or just wait for TBC launch than spend eternity farming bgs for drips of honor.
Soooo. The people who have started farming as soon as the prepatch hit, with a full premade , clapping the pugs in a matter of mins so they don’t even get kicked out, they got capped in a day and meanwhile I didn’t even get to finish my games because I got kicked out of many of them. So if you are calling it a “”"“Bug”""" then why don’t you wipe their honour/bought gear/marks w/e like you did with exploiting Azerite?
Dear #Kaivax thank you for trying to fix what you massed up but let me tell you something.
I know this is not January 2007 but what I remember from January 2007 I farmed epic xbow+polearm+helm+shoulder in 3-4 days it makes 50k+honor and no I wasn’t no life it.
I remember we had strugle some bosses and we went to kill those bosses first week on prepatch with those pvp items.
I remember we even got some honor points from last weeks and directly went to get some of the items and used after prepatch they didn’t go blank like this time.
Now let me tell you the differance. I have been farming honor points last 3 days. I only got 7200 honor so far( I can barely get a blue item. so lets say it is 2x and it becomes 14k… or 4x weekend 28k. Still far away from 50k… Do you think it is really enough???
We were waiting to do pvp and get some gear before tbc but if you not leveling a shammy/pally there is absolutly nothing left to do in game atm. What I see is that you guyz massed up yes but you are just trying to bandaid a wound as big as the Grand Canyon…
This is not enough Blizz!
First you nerf the honor gain to 1/10, than you double the new amount and brand yourself like some sort of heroes? Just revert the damn hotfix and let people get their honor for the shortest pre-patch in history!
Pointless, you earn less at 60 for your time than at 70 and many people have said honor will reset and be converted into gold, to stop you pre-farming your 70 blues. If that were not the case then the people who exploited early will have the advantage of having farmed the majority of their level 70 gear in one day at level 60.
I can’t understand, how prefarm marks/honor can be pointless ?
You’ll reach level 70 and be able to get some blue PvP gear which will be usefull for phase 1.
Even if you get more honor at level 70 it’s still 75k honor you won’t have to farm.
I wish i could get any official source for this (patch note/blue post)
If it were not the case like I said, people who exploited can level to 70 and equip a bunch of items on day one. The marks are the easy part, they always were in TBC.
so what tho. Before arena starts everybody have time to collect more then enough honor to get full honor pvp gear, this just saves them times. It’s not a gamebreaking or unbalanced thing by anymeans.
It’s a step in the right direction, but it’s still still 2/10 of what it was. That’s still roughly 60% of what I remember getting back in vanilla, and we used to get way more honor from kills, so you’re completely neglecting that fact.
And let’s not forget, the pre-patch is only 2 weeks, with several days wasted thus far, and you’re not even being transparent on when the server restarts will be.
Blizzard you need to wake up. 10x was too much I agree but right now it feels like a 12 year old could make better choices about running the game then you lot. 4x seems to be a middle ground meaning players still need to put hours in but right now 2x the nerfed rate with the already way to short pre patch is a recipe for disaster do the right thing and go for 4x the nerfed rate.
