Double Honor and Darkmoon Faire Coming to Pre-patch

Ok, cool story. You got just about everything wrong about our situation.

Next time, come to my house and spend some time with us before you talk out of your behind.

Ironic, since you were the one lecturing me.

this is what i call toxic elitist players, you did not play the game since the beginning, don’t come to play it now xd
Players that were here since day1 had fun, theres not fun any more, the inflation is huge, guilds are very closed to any new players, you cannot even find a party in lfgforgroup due to the xp boosters. Dude, increasing Honor will not make you poor, it will just give more ppl chance to play with others, it is not harming anyone. Imagine wasting 10 hours for 2k honor at the best? c’mon, don’t be retarded.

Damn these poor dudes.

I’ve never posted anything on this forum, but now I feel kinda obligated to (sorry for the incoming essay).

What I just find baffling, is that people keep on accepting all this mediocrity created by ActiBlizz. I’ve waited until today to give them the chance to redeem themselves since my sub runs out, but they give me no reason to resub which I find sad (since I want Blizzard to deliver good games).

I want to make clear that this isn’t the original TBC prepatch like back in the day. There are only 2 weeks , microtransactions (which lead to P2W and will grow even stronger), change in classes such as the seals with paladins or drums, can level BE and Draenei,

Changes which lead to gameplay improvements are good (like the seals and drums) and I highly recommend them to keep doing such things to make the gameplay feel more enjoyable and balanced. That’s also why I didn’t even mind the honor at day 1 since it brought more people to BGs (4 min AB queue and 7 min AV queue for Horde) and people said they enjoyed it. For myself, this enjoyment increased since I could get my rogue alt who just dinged 60 (not boosted) a full set in a week and a weapon for my warrior after.

Then the nerf happened, which would be fine if everything else was working fine and it was a 6 week period. But both of those things are not. I’m going to list a few things I’ve experienced or read (*) myself to show that this game just isn’t ready for release.

  • HKs not working properly
  • EotS weekend when it’s 61+
  • Getting kicked out of BGs and/or queues
  • Daily honor quest not working
  • Too much bonus honor
  • Nerfing bonus honor but not fixing HK
  • Promising 4x honor in AB and doesn’t work (was already known in the US for a day and they still implemented it wrong in EU)
  • UBRS a 5 man dungeon (*)
  • Druid Aquatic form quest not working (*)
  • Druid cat form energy ticks (not sure if that’s intented or not?) (*)
  • A mate got teleported to RFD when logging out when he was in Thousand Needles (*)
  • 12 slot bags for boosted chars instead of 14 (= false advertisement) (*)

There’s probably more but those are the things I can recall while writing this.
This + the lack of communication leaving their customers/community in the dark.
The whole game just feels like it is still in beta and they didn’t even test a thing.

Not to mention all the failures they produced outside of Classic WoW in recent times (like Diablo for the phone, Warcraft 3 reforged, Retail WoW such as corruption or patches,
).

This is just a slap to us, the players, their customer. For them, we are just money providers and since people keep paying their sub (or worse the ‘deluxe edition’) there will never be an incentive for them to change.

Sorry for the long rant, but this comes from a boy who fell in love with Blizzard at the age of 12 but feels constantly ignored by them

TLDR: Blizzard’s downfall (balance, communication and decision making)

Honor gain STILL to low and too much of a grind for a 13 day pre patch making queuing not worth it, it was so much fun before the nerf

So it’s toxic and elitist to have a minimum expectation that a green geared player prepare a little before entering BG’s and feel entitled to obtain BWL equivalent gear with 0 effort.

Ok. I got it.

Why don’t we just add a vendor giving out High quality gear. That should do it right?

Hi Flock
Absolutely not, talking about myself, unlike you, since i am concerned, unlike you, been trying to get my pre-raid bis since one month, between the bad rolls, the bad loots, RNG, the difficulty to get in decent guild, i am stuck in nowere. Have you seen that many ZG/MC raids goin on recently? No, this is a damn dead game, boosting services encourage gold selllers. Well, you cannot understand, obviously, the problem is not the honor that few ‘good’ players can have that may grant them a decent gear for the next, there are way more serious problems then this.
Have fun

Why are you concerned? You get everything you need in TBC within the first zone to get you on your journey. EVERYTHING and it beats your Preraid BiS out of the left field by a huge milestone. There is absolutley nothing to worry about, nill, zero nothing.

Even if you got into MC and ZG, AQ20, the gear in hellfire peninsula is much stronger and you will change it within a few hours.

You are concerned over nothing and thats not an elists toxic mindset at all.

Meanwhile a lot of items from AQ 40/Naxx are my bis gear in Tier 1. Pretty funny eh?

The trinket from Kel’thuzad is bis until Sunwell against demons lul

As a previous TBC raider up til Sunwell back in the days, I can ensure you none of those items are in an absolute need to complete any raids.

I know, I haven’t even read this thread apart from the last few posts. Just pointing that out. I will be fine with my gear from dungeons/crafting. And obviously from the tier 1 raids.

Most items will be outdated when tier 2 hits. Apart from the Kel trinket. But it’s demons only which is not every boss.

And how exactly is honor supposed to get you that?

UP we want more X5

/x10Honor Andys Crusade

Announce a honor wipe or increase the honor gains back to the bugged 10x already. Giving people a 24+ hour advantage at level 70 is not ok.

Honor gains remain extremely low, still no point in playing pvp unless you want to spend hundreds of hours farming gear you will likely change very quickly

@Flock, you’re not teaching me anything here, trust me i’ve been playing TBC for very long time.
This is my last answer, stubborn ppl cannot be changed, we’re just talking hein.
Honor gain is doomed to hell ok, this is a fact, the promise of farming honor to gear came from Blizzad, reason why i am paying this month, and will certainly never renew it, will certainly never play the game after it expires the next 14 days.
Now the question, why do you care? why you’re ever arguing here about honor? how can any change in honor impact your quality of life? i mean, classic is so perfect but any change in the honor system will break this perfect game right?.

EDIT
@blizzad if there’s a free option to come back to classic and revert my transfer to TBC it will be more then welcome. So i can farm honor at classic rate, and when i can get some gear, months later i will pay to transfer to TBC.
Best regards
