Double the raid loot

We are progressing phases twice as fast but we get zero bonus drops. We’re going to arrive in AQ in complete dumpster gear. If you’re not going to double it, at least give us 1 bonus drop per boss. People literally won’t be able to complete their T1 set before T2 drops. There are zero counterarguments to this

You are worrying about wrong thing. x2 phases advancement will affect nax greatly. People have less time to farm pre aq, pre nax, and eventually full nax gear. I wonder how many people will have full t3 with speed up phase progress

Just a small minority.

I was here a month ago saying Anniversary would be a rat-race on steroids and got relentlessly attacked by many.

Era SOLVED this issue since everybody has the whole time in the world to play at their own pace.

Wait until BWL hits - Fresh will be over by then.

We will return to era in the end again. Era is always here for us like old parents always happy to see their children any time. But now i am curious what spoils from blizzard await us.

Just farm the PvP gear I guess.

Can’t even do that since they’re gatekeeping rank 14 until bwl. And then we need another month to progress from 11 to 14. Having double drops right now would be the same loot scarcity as 2019. Not having double drops right now is double the loot scarcity of 2019.

In Era Naxx loot is final while MC/BWL/ZG guild split-runs/PUGS give “free” tier loot. On the Anniversary people should take it chill as TBC will reset the gear (and the majority won’t have Era-level BiS when TBC hits).

The key reason people use GDKP and complain about GDKP is that they are addicted to pixels. And the “fear” of being behind. On ERA everyone new is “behind” Naxx geared toons so they either don’t roll a character or they RMT to “catch up”. On Anniversary realms, mostly PvP people are in some brain frenzy where they have to rush and push and RMT everything because they need that one extra MC reset or that one extra week of Strat farming or they will be “behind”, and will have fewer chances to get their BWL BiS offhand.

The problem with Era is that the content ends. Going to TBC world and dungeons is fun

That’s an optimistic take

I got my fair share of dungeon runs, got my alt gear sets, including 230+ FR Bear set. Still some things to do, but I can take a break and be fine with it. Until TBC there will be very little open world content - AQ pre-events pretty much - while raiding is somewhat boring…

But the thing is mate, I do not see this as a problem. There are progression guilds on Era clearing content at their own pace as we speak. The content is available to everyone all the time, sandbox-style, for the community to make use of it.

Heck, I am all for TBC/WotlK Era versions of the game too, which would give me the chance to back and forth to them and play them and progress my chars in them whenever I have time for it.

While I understand the thrill and rationale of fresh Vanilla, the cycle always repeats the same way and people fall for it over and over and over again. The majority cannot keep up.

With this I am not negating any of your points, you are on point on many. But this game can be looked at differently, and Era has proven this.
