So I’ve succumbed to the temptation of creating a dragon boi; With a preliminary Obsidian Warder concept in the background.
Now, it’s not going to be some Stormwind Slice-Of-Life nonsense type of character IF or WHEN the actual RP starts, but I was wondering if there are any good takes on some transmogs?
Are there any decent Drachtyr guilds out there with some ideas on what’s decent and what is cringe?
Apparently it’s cringe to use your visage around non-dracthyr?
This is news to me, seen plenty of Dracthyr use their visage around others…
Yea same. Hm. Odd.
Also, transmogs are anything you desire, really. Maybe look on wowhead at sets people have made.
If you don’t want to be changing your gear too much, try to find shoulders that match both visage and dracthyr customisation armour. It can be a pain, but it’s doable!
I’m just running into all the wrong people as usual! I think it’s a holdover from the portion of the worgen RP crowd who act like they were never human.
Isn’t that rather illogical? I mean, the point of visage form is to fit in better with the other races…
So why would you use it around your fellow Dracthyr then?
Alas I think visageform in general was a mistake, because aside from the player character, no other Dracthyr ever uses it anyway, I think?
There’s Dracthyr in Valdrakken who use their visage iirc
There are several. It’s almost like it’s a case by case choice. Madness!
I stand corrected, but do they use them outside of Valdrakken aswell? Because the ones by the Stormwind Mage Tower sure don’t and that kinda breaks the purpose of the visageform, no?
As stated, a case by case basis. The one at the dock or airship if orgrimmar is in visage form.
A part of me wonders if it’s also something that not necessarily all of them can do / want to do.
We (The PC) learn to do it because Wrathion tells us to envision it.
Who’s to say another Lizardboi who didn’t have someone talking about that stuff, ever thought to try it out.
…Or something? What do I know 
Fine fine, I stand corrected; as for Dracthyr RP gear, I just the Bronze civilian clothes, because I think the armor you can customise onto your Dracthyr looks better then whatever I can get from raids and dungeons…
Just a shame it doesn’t port over onto my visage form 
And who’s to say that the dracthyrs maybe do not enjoy the visage? after all they were trained to fight and some are still loyal to the mentality of being always strong, so turning into a visage would mean weak for them.
As for RP gear, i usually reccomend to make sets withouth shoulders if you do not find any viable option for them, it can be quite hard to find those so better to make sets withouth when in doubt.
Either way, it’s odd someone said it’s cringe to use visage form. I’d say that statement is cringe. They’re taught to go into it. They can go into it. It helps them fit in in some manners. Nowt wrong with it.
You can try to convince my Dracthyr to not use her viasage form.
She will laugh at you.
