Going to try it out today. Been checking out the spell inventory and practicing. Feels just a little bit like resto druid. Plus side; you can stay in human form when casting some of the spells.

There is no generational issue. There is no misunderstanding. There is simply a dislike of your chosen format. Which I expressed in a one off reply that has now resulted in many back and forths.
Oddly enough, my Character bugged yesterday, and I was my Dragon Form, but with my Visage and full armor skin. The Dragonform had full armour on, except the legs which have half invisible. So at least on the top half the armor is possible.
Wish I took a screen shot.
Basically I was Soaring and enter the instance at the exact same moment I landed (when you change back to Visage) and something must have bugged out when I entered.
You obviously just like to come into threads and say: You are doing it wrong! Don’t even join threads if you don’t contributes to the subject in the first place.

Well, It’s the legs thing.
Literally my thighs were missing, completely invisible. So maybe there is an issue with legs. I don’t know really. It was a bug, I’m not really planning on trying to re-create it.
P.S. I haven’t read the conversation, but be nice to Puny.

I’m pretty sure they made them wear mail just for the sake of it.
People have been asking for a new mail class for a long time, and Blizzard delivered. People have been asking for a new ranged class or spec, and Blizzard delivered.
But from design/gameplay/logic perspective they definitely should’ve been cloth. It was probably the initial idea, but changed later cause people wanted a mail class. Or maybe they wanted initially to make a melee spec too, but ran out of time/money (but I highly doubt this).
