They look very odd, they’re dragons and they can’t fly, and it looks ridiculous that they need a fly mount to fly. Maybe they’ll grow on me, I thought for a long time that pandarens just looked silly, now I’m used to them.
Ugly? They’re not ugly at all. I think they look great, not to mention they have a lot of cosmetic features.
They should have a flight form, like Worgens have ground mount form.

i feel they need a complete redesign the animations they slapped on for the run etc dont match their odd proportions it’s clearly from some other race and its really an eye sore see’ing them plod about. They should have been more like their creator and less like some one’s pet lizzard.

Reads like you’ve made your decision and you’re fully committed to it. You might be trying to promote discussion, but there are better ways of putting it.
Whether there are different “generations” in this forum or not, posts should be made for everyone to understand. Not just those of a particular “generation”.
Also, Taliesin has a good view on this. It goes something along the lines of “WoW is a great game. But every time someone moans about something they don’t like publicly, whether they are right or not, it makes the game a little worse for everyone else, because someone isn’t enjoying it.”

Not sure if others have said this but if you go to the transmog guy in your dracthyr form you can hide the shoulders and belt… this frustrated me for a while too until I realised you had to do this in the dracthyr form and not the visage form

Lets start.
Drakthyr arent dragons. Their mortals infused with the powers of the aspects which has caused changes the apperance and evolution of them.
Their basically susposed to look like half mortal half dragons, so a lizard is a good fit.
Their not ugly, this is a personal opinon realistically.

I don’t have firm opinion. On one hand, more choices is better, on other hand they are kinda out of place.

Entirely influenced by personal taste, but I kinda agree. Not that it bothers me, but Dracthyrs are not my cup of whatever. I think perhaps Id like the tender figure if they gave them some grace. Something that was proud, kinda arrogant and good looking in a feral way. Dracthyrs look like they are grown in caves. Not neccesarily a bad thing, but perhaps not what I envisioned.

I just wish that we could make them thicker, like male draenei or Tauren. It would fit the dragon fiction more imo!
And also that they could fly without a mount, it makes little sense to jump on a dragon as a winged dragon/lizard!

I just think about deathwing and can’t imagine that Dracthyr is his creation. My vision of Dracthyr was more like the dragonkin NPC that we have since vanilla!
