Dracthyr Visage form permanent

My female Dracthyr is stunning! Easily the best looking character in WoW.

But during combat she reverts to dragon form, and it is so ugly. With typical parties consisting of 2-4 Dracthyr, all you see on screen is those damned wings.

Why can’t we have a permanent Visage mode?

Because dragons don’t fight in Visage form.

Same with Nozdormu and rest of the Dragons?

Well, but gilneans when they are the worgen, must fight in the worgen form but if they want to fight in the human form, then play the human or kul tiran or undead

the visage form is indeed stunning, as is the customizations.

opposite to my worgen, i prefer the Chihuahua face

I personally wish “Chosen Identity” worked with both “Rescue” and “Hover” after their use.

For me, going in and out of dragon form feels like playing super hero in disguise. I love how it surprises people too specially with Rescue.

Yeah?
No other dragon we know fights actively in visage form.
The most they do is channeling magic, out of combat, somewhere or using a weapon.

This!!!

Every aspect, every True dragon all dont fight in visage.

Visage is simply a communication tool for the dragon. Its not used for combat and i dont think itd be a comfortable thing for a dragon to really do.

There are select amounts of abilities we can use while visaged, same as them. But actual combat no.

I think it’s fine. When you’re in combat, you really don’t look at your character too much anyway.

The only gripe i have with chosen identity. If you use a dracthyr ability outside combat, it won’t revert to visage form automatically.

Visage is an illusion that break when Drakthyr go in to combat. They can not maintain the image. The magick’s gone on battle.

Besides the Drakthyr are proud of their true form, its only to better interact with other species they choose to have a visage form for being a dragon might even terrify some.

“Wings everywhere” oh sweet summer child, play Tauren!

I just want proper transmog for the Dracthyr form, let me wear pants damnit!

Seriously tho. A visage form that you can fight in, and some of the dragon spells that usually force you into dracthyr form could just summon like, a dragon part of it. Think Fire Breath for mages. Could be cool.

But I’d much rather just get proper transmog.

Because that would make no sense for all the bloody breaths.

Are you sure about that?

Lol wut?. he doesnt use any abilities? He uses his human form to Wield a Weapon. that he could not wield as a dragon.

we can auto attack and use Weapon attacks in our visage too ^^ we cant use DRACONIC ABILITIES, in visage.

You said and I quote:

He stabbed N’zoth. That counts as combat.

its Not really by definition.

Combat is a ongoing fight. Stabbing someone With 0 follow up, is Actually Just Assaulting. you wouldnt consider someone who walked into a Nightclub and Shanked Someone in passing as “actively involved in combat”.

you’d say He Stabbed someone.

He dodged N’zoths Tentacles. So he dodged an attack towards him. Went into Visage Form to prevent getting smashed by 2 Tentacles and counter attacked N’zoth with the Blade.

It is a literal, ongoing combat. By your very definition.

your quite litterally being Pedantic at this point realistically.

he played a Obstacle Course and Stabbed something. good job, If we wanna Do that. we can go Jump from a Hieght and Hit something with our Weapon too. however, its barely combat at best. and Realistically.

I dont consider running away to be combat. which is what Dodging is realistically.he Flew out the Way of a Obstacle.

regardless to which, dont rly know how it has owt to do with this concept. as Evokers are casters we’re talking about the ability to Cast in Visage… not Slap something with a blade which is already fully accessible to visage.

Interesting that you deny N’zoth being an opponent in a fight and call it an obstacle course.

It is not about the bloody gameplay here, this is about your claim:

Dragons use it for communication and for combat, if necessary. Wrathion does exactly that in the cutscene and he looked quite comfortable in doing so.

So, in other words, your claim is untrue.
