I also loved the class quests and wish they would optionally bring them back though.
It’s still there, the TBC new levelling zones haven’t changed since they were released.

It’s in the first village in azuremyst. Don’t forget to pick up the 6 moongraze meat on your way there so you don’t have to go back to get it for the tender moongraze recipe. It starts here
Not sure of that exact one, but there is quite a few quests that turn you into certain things. There’s an orc near the gates of Orgrimmar that tells you the story of a hungry wolf, you turn into the actual wolf but eventually get killed by a Kodo D:
There’s a quest in Ashenvale where you turn into the spirit of this giant spectral cat thing and slay legions of Orcs.
Then there’s a quest that turns you into a Naga and you have to work with them to gain their trust.
Many of the older quests were really interactive and interesting. Not just go here, kill X, go there kill Y.
Yea I love those kinda quests! I remember one in the forsaken starting place you could do and Sylvanas would start singing…

Yus, I did that questline but I really don’t remember being an animal! It might’ve been removed!
It’s the last few parts after you have to swim down the river to near the sea and after that. It’s some kind of ghost panther.

Not sure what class though…I need to lvl a LF Draenei still but none of the classes appeal to me atm. Wish they could be shaman or rogue

Not really into paladins atm. Maybe a priest as the heritage armor would look nice on them sort of like a plate armor priest!
