Correct.And they define what “character” on wow realm pop:

  • Active character: Character has logged in within 30 days.Not account,ie player.

It doesn’t change the fact that prior SL draenor was 26k characters and now displays at 146k. I’m sorry but unless your telling me that people have made 120k Alts within a few days Ur simply not accurate.

there are at least 25 characters active on draenor from me :smiley: and only one account no multiboxing :wink:

tried but got disconected guess it’s partly the login server that is causing the problem

26k active characters prior vs 146k active characters now, that I will believe cause people started playing when the expansion launched.

More people are playing cause more people are staying at home

The thing is though, i have characters on stormscale as well however I can’t login there either after becoming afflicted by the disconnect bug on draenor.

There’s a bunch of broken something servers and once your account gets cached on one of them, you’re in limbo until the cache gets flushed.

I dont need to prove anything i am just telling you that character and player/account is not the same.The way they track is also on there very own site.
WoW never used what you seem to suggest when it comes to player numbers,let alone active players at the same moment on one realm.

Same thing with WoWprogress and how it tracks its player numbers,Draenor has 27 000 “population” and what is that according to wowprogress;

  • amount of unique players that meet any of the two conditions:
  • has a level 110 character that killed something in Tier 24 Heroic Mode
  • has a level 110 character in a guild that killed something in Tier 24 Heroic Mode

…so my 4 characters that have curve(killed hc nzoth) are accounted as 4 out of those 27 000 characters.

Blizzard has finally come out with an actual statement regarding the login issues.

You can go to config.wtf and put

SET disableAutoRealmSelect “1”

You should be on realm list selection.

At least it worked for me

So you don’t get stuck into a queue on a overloaded realm.

You can remove the line afterwards once you’ve logged into a new ream.

Honestly mate. People have a right to rant when they are not provided with the service they pay for, especially if their solution doesn’t even work. You’re just floating on the forums to p*** people off, which clearly indicates that you are most likely one of those kids you’re talking about.

The solution -does- work. It’s just people choose NOT to use it. They are the problem, not Blizzard.

Sorry to say, but there are people who wish to transfer but cannot because they have mail, and they can’t delete this mail cause they DC when they try to log in.
Maybe read the forum thread rather than just assuming.

People are also being told that they can’t transer due to “live auctions”. Which they don’t have.

So yet another bug.
