Dragonflight CE price a joke?

Just wanted to know if this is some sort of joke, im seeing prices of up to £130 for the CE physical edition???

With the price of everything going up and people literally choosing between eating and heating their homes how on earth do you expect a product that used to be a reasonable £60-£70 to be anything even worth £130??

Is blizzard greed simply going too far now and they literally just don’t care? I have bought every CE edition since release but this seems like too far for me. There better be a hard lump of gold or a massive diamond in that box to warrant that ridiculous price tag…

I don’t see the problem. If you can’t afford it or refuse to pay for it then it’s a non-issue. It’s entirely optional to have. To play new content that comes you just need the standard edition.

You’re reading the price in USD - the UK/Euros price is only marginally cheaper at around 105. Much as id love the CE box, it ain’t happening at that price

This is perfectly fine and the best way to get them to lower future boxes, just don’t pay if you don’t think it’s worth it.

So don’t buy it if you think it’s too much?

for the price their asking for the epic version i could get 2 Triple A games … it’s pretty funny heck rather then buying this piss poor expansion i spent my money on the FF 7 remake on steam instead :stuck_out_tongue:

Yes, it is a joke. That’s how jokes work. Weren’t you amused?

I’d rather not go back to jail though

I have no problem that different editions cost differently and people can buy whichever they want to.

But I have problem that EU/US players have to buy new expansion while they (basic edition) are free in China.

Why is there this differential treatment? Why Chinese players only have to pay for sub, but US/EU players have to pay for expansion + sub?

UK price £129.99

They can do one at that price - i actually begrudge £40 for the base edition right now

South Korea only pays a sub as well.

I remember the Shadowlands edition was over £100 and at that point I thought nah, it’s not worth that money for a Box, a Book and a Mouse Mat.

Back in the glory days it was worth the £70 of the CE edition.

I am sadly a collector of the special editions, i only ever buy the expansion if i can get everything i want in it, i dont like buying digital versions i prefer physical copies, have done ever since i got my first computer in the 80s. Been playing WoW since 2004 and was hoping to continue but this pricing is daylight robbery. My whole point of my post is that with everything in the world being inflated to hell, how can they justify this price tag on a game that most people say is not worth the money. £50-£100 sure but anything over that is pure greed.

Its £130 im not sure which website you have been looking at, unless there is one cheaper then im all ears.

A bigger concern is scalpers, with this price tag i can see ebay being flushed with copies well into the £500 mark.
