Dragonflight CE price a joke?

Most games now are bloated with stale filler. 15 hours is short by today’s standards, I just completed Demon’s Souls, it took me 14 hours and I couldn’t believe it.

I prefer short games, I have tons that I’ve completed lots of times.

I won’t disagree divinity is a banger game tbh.

Meh, imo a 59.99 game isn’t worth that. I rarely ever replay games after I’ve completed them, but each to their own I guess, and it’s down to the person to make the decision if it’s worth their money.

WoW is the only game that I’ve played religiously for over a decade, so buying the CE is a drop in the ocean in terms of money for content/time played

Play the first one if you haven’t already, the 2nd one doesnt hold a candle to it in my opinion and was my first step in looking into MMOs.

My journey went - Divine Divinity 1 - Fable 1,2,3 - WoW. I wanted a fantasy game that never ended as i was always disappointed when a game ended, then my brother recommended this new game called World of Warcraft, it sounded familiar (I had the original Warcraft 1 from the 90s and didnt realise it). Now been playing since 2004 and havent stopped yet…

I used to buy all the boxes, but not at these prices nowadays & last mouse mat was Legion :joy: £105 for a mouse mat, err no. I dont collect any games, just wanted a new mouse mat.

They wouldn’t price it like that if people were not gonna buy it. They can keep increasing the price as long as they profit out of it. Once it’s too high they just stop or even lower it. We are to blame.

Blizz is cashing out thats why the price is high.

ff 7 remake was 30 % or something off because i also own the original ff 7 on steam :stuck_out_tongue:

You compared buying a CE of a new game VS normal version of a disscounted old game because thats comparable.

the point is that ff 7 has value … dragonflight has no value your literally pre ordering a bridge ion claims to have the only way the expansion would be worth the money they are charging is if it completely changed the way wow is being played and it most likely is not it’s the same old tired recipe but hey if you want to keep getting scammed by bobby k go right ahead

How does one game have value while the other one doesnt? Is it the pre order thingy? Cuz ff7 had those aswell, most AAA do.

if you don’t understand there is truly no hope for you enjoy funding another bobby k yatch and the rest of the criminals of activision-blizzard

So you cant explain what you are talking about and blame that on me… got it.

Chinese players don’t pay a sub, they use game time cards (which I believe have recently gone up in price)

Agree 100% it took ages to finish and to explore fully.
Ive finoshed it with 3 diff parties to explore all the stories/relation.
And the only game outside wow and baldurs gate where i meme’d many things (npc dialogs in driftwood!!!)

not living in the UK I don’t think it’s convenient for me: currency exchange and customs taxes make the final bill grow even more.
Simulating the purchase on the European site, the shipping costs are approximately more the 10% of the cost of the CE for the Normal shipping, while they are much higher in Express mode (I don’t know if this last mode guarantees delivery on the same day the release of the expansion)

Base edition should be free since you already pay the sub. It’s game as a service. Imagine paying Netflix sub and still having to pay 50€ to watch a new movie on top of that.
Especially because of how wow works with new expansion making old content obsolete. So when expansion comes out you also lose what you already have since you can’t properly play the game anymore.

So once again, I ask, for what actual reason they charge extra 50 euros despite already getting sub and various microtransactions?

To be honest even living in the UK where the shipping costs are negligible (when compared to the product price) even the fact that they add shipping onto an item at that price is making me think twice.

Off the top of my head the only place that hasn’t offered free delivery after circa £50 is a brewery I occasionally use to bulk purchase ale.

It’s not 105 for a mouse mat. You at least have to deduct the cost of the box, the expansion, and the pre-purchase items, and the books etc. But yes, it’s definitely expensive in this day and age with how prices are rising for absolutely everything. Thankfully CE isn’t a necessity, so if you can’t afford it, you can just buy the expansion

Getting scammed out of hundreds of hours of a game I know I’ll get 50x more of than any other triple A game in the last decade or two. Settle yourself down lol

or you know it will be so bad you’ll just unsub :stuck_out_tongue:
