BFA didn’t have an artbook tho I think, it had a book about the faction war instead. Art books often are around 40€ so that does drive up the price a bit.
I remember the disappointment from some. The book is important to a lot of collectors.
These things just prey on people’s love of the things they love.
I limit myself to only getting them if I really like the stuff. So I’d only get this if it came with a transforming Deathwing toy.

I have a friend who is working in the field, he is buying CEs specifically for the art book. He was devastated when the CE did not include one

Also since blizzard lost more than 50% costumers ,the ones still playing have to pay for the ones that dont!

do you know if the physical CE will be distributed only through the official store? I do not find a trace in the usual online sales sites.
I ask because the shipping costs are really exaggerated
As far as shipping goes, you might want to try the UK store even if you don’t live there, though I guess prices depend on where you live.
I don’t plan to buy the CE, but when I bought stuff from the gear store it was the US one for cheaper prices and shipping. Though in this case I don’t know if a US CE can be redeemed on an EU account.
I’d pay €123 to see you eat 10-12 large pizzas. You have to be in your orc disguise while doing it though.

i bought a 230$ music album set and another was more than 350$ dollars. they were rare.
why did i do that ? because i REALLY wanted it and looked for it for years. and i enjoy it.
my point is, people have hobbies, and some hobbies can get expensive (which is why i slowed down my music collection). there is nothing wrong to invest in something you enjoy.
the price is high, true, but you should also know that it wont be in the shop forever. so i guess you will have to tie the belt a little for a month (or dont annoy the wife).

If we’re seeing an obviously overpriced thing, we could just not buy it… problem is not only can people afford higher prices (for now) but they also have no self-control. Companies KNOW (for now) that you’re gonna pay their overpriced fee.

I get the appeal of collecting things, that isn’t my point. My point is if you think anything is not worth the cash being asked of you for it, don’t pay. When enough people stop paying the price will come down in future versions / releases of similar items. Voting with your wallet is the only way to make for profit entities listen. You think Blizzard will do anything nice because their customers ask? No. They’ll be nice when being nice turns more of a profit than out-right greed.

Yeah I agree.
Even though it costs to much these kind of real world situations will happen and you have to choose real life over a video game. That’s just life. You will have to sacrifice things you would want to buy or do sometimes.
Will just put this in one reply as there seems to be confusion. I aka me aka myself aka irene are not poor, im talking about the general public and the current economy. I am also a collector so simply not buying it because i dont like the product or buying a cheap option isnt an option for me. I either buy the CE edition or none at all, so if i dont buy the CE edition i wont be playing the new expansion. My choice i know but its less hassle.
Also side note, when i tried to test the website to buy it, it said i should go to the UK store so i clicked it then im back at the US store again??? Anybody else having this issue?

I really dont get the “They even dare to ask for more for CE” mentality thats going on here.

Cost isn’t related to how good a game is. My most played game outside of WoW right now is free-to-play.

Best game I’ve bought on steam for a long time;
Took me roughly 50 hours to be done with it.
Then you’ve got a game like Tomb Raider which took me about 10 hours…
