to be fair i knew they was inept several expansions ago but welcome to the club
op
Keep everything same, players complain that it’s boring and we have seen it… change something, players will complain that it’s not familiar and doesn’t feel the same…
i like these new things, ofc there is lot’s of balancing etc coming but looks good this far
Ignore the fact that:
Hype new releases always sky rocket in players.
Any retail player was also playing classic while on retail also.
It died pretty fast.
Your arguments are failed, and arent even the reasons to the actual problem.
People disliked borrowed power because it intentionally left holes in your classes design to make u do forced repeatitive content to progress, the reasons people wanted this go back to a talent tree design is because.
You get ur class. You get ur player power and u immediately get the class design you PAID for without waiting a year and a half of continous grind loops to eventually reach.
Im sorry but your “facts” are for you. Not we, we dont agree with you, the talent trees have solely carried the hype for the new expansion alone.
The isuse was forced content. Which means it had to be made dull and easymode to ensure every player could gain it. While also being a continous forced effort.
This drove players to jump through hoops in content they wanted no part of just to compete in the game modes they wished to play. Which in turn burnt players out hard.
Talent trees are better, best iteration the games ever had in fact.
All mine are a major improvement, you sure you’re playing the right game!
I’ve not been very happy with my spec for the last couple of expansions but the more I’m fiddling around with my talent trees, the better I’m enjoying it. Far better than the original talent trees and I can be me, not the cookie cutter shadow priest I have been.
Oh another doom and gloom forum post, new expansion coming out, queue the doom and gloom.
don’t like it, don’t play simple really isn’t it.
As a retribution pala, I can confirm. We are in a very good sweet spot imo that shouldn’t be touched ever again. Just adjust the other classes to their own sweet spot.
Totally agree with your headline - I think they sold the Company so do not care very much.
Huh? The first talent choices for feral either reduce the cost of your basic cat abilities, or buff your cat finisher, what do you mean by “there were no talents available that looked they would benefit me in any way as a cat”? And you simply learn the cat form at level 20. What a weird post from somebody who claims to have years of experience.
To address the original topic, even though DF classes seem to be a bit overloaded, claiming that it will be the end of wow is ridiculous. So far it’s been fun to experiment with all the combinations.
I’m looking forwards to Dragonflight.
I can’t stress enough how good not having borrowed powers anymore feels.
It’s your gear and talents, and that’s all.
Classes feels better at lvl 70, haven’t tried them all yet, but DEvoker and VDH are amazing!
I think people need to experience that first before they’ll believe it.
Once you leave your old shadowlands gear behind and get going in Dragonflight it turns into a good experience.
Arcane too? I gave up ages ago cuz it was terrible and biring to play it
Tried frost/fire on my mages.
Ret on my Pala.
Holy on my priest (most meh of the three classes)
Yeah Ret’s in an awful state right now because Blizzard were insistant on pushing consecration and the revamped exorcism into our rotation.
We’ve had a great basic rotation since MoP added a third holy power builder. Now we have two abilities that feel clunky as all hell to use that’re ruining our rotation. They don’t build or spend holy power and interrupt that gameplay flow that’s worked so well for us for almost ten years now.
Some people just have created a form of Hate in Wow because the Devs can do whatever they want or give whatever you want, it wont be enough tbh, what i hate is that this pre patch is a Bugpatch and noword from Blizz that they are working on fixes.
You are in a GOOD STATE whatever you say dont be ridiculous
Doing damage isn’t everything. The tree has too much overtuned clutter that needs pruning back. We were in a good state in BfA and Shadowlands.
I suppose I mean because I can’t get any benefit out of them because I don’t have my cat form. So the game obviously intends me to pick something else because it wouldn’t expect you to pick talents that aren’t going to be any benefit to you. At least, it doesn’t make any sense to me that it would.
In retail, you’re able to choose talents that are going to benefit you immediately. You don’t have to wonder whether you should just choose something unrelated (because maybe that’s what you’re supposed to do) or just save your new talent point (which was exciting to get because levelling is so torturously slow) until you can benefit from it. Neither option seems like something you’d want to do, which makes it confusing.
I don’t even use exorcism and do perfectly fine. I have no clue why so many people go for meta builds. The game is totally playable without meta builds. It just takes a little bit longer and more awareness in combat.
Are people here really that starved for attention?
I mean, good for you for making this post, but couldn’t you just quit like a normal person?
I’m not the only one who is sick and tired of people quitting with over dramatic forum posts. Are you hoping people would beg you to stay or something?
Just go.
I agree partially op. There is lots of work to do but Mage feels absolutely better than ever. Kinda mixture of Legion, MoP and past. However we don’t really know yet until Season, Raids and Dungeons starts.
Consider 11.0 the real fix. When they give that Deep Freeze and Blazing speed back. All these other micro snares and 10% 2 sec speed boosts are just trolling because they can’t handle negative and offensive feedback (for a good reason).
