DF Isnt rushed though which is a large issue, theres a reason why people who try to call it rushed dont actually have any justification for the proclaim, people just decided its too soon to manage but ignore the several arguments against such.
every incriment of content is in the Beta right now. Everything. its all playable and All fine lmao. i’ve suffered no bugs in any of the dungeons, I’ve suffered 0 Bugs from the UI outside evoker Specficially regarding their bags, i’ve had 0 bugs from its Raids, and no bugs from open world content.
the problem is, People assume “OH but if its in beta Longer, My demands will be met”.
The problems with the game you have. arent because blizzard Dont have the time to implement it, or the expansions been rushed so simply had to be cut. its Because blizzard WILL NOT implement them. they DONT WANT TO.
the fallacy of “oh obviously they run out of time because What i wanted did not happen” is Soooo untrue, its beyond reason to be able to justify im afraid.
i’d be Really interested in what u truely beleive isnt Finished, or what u think has been cut to bringh it out quicker, because balance issues has existed since WoW Classic, blizzards NEVER EVER been that balanced at all. Not now, not 2 decades ago lol. the FoTM Nature of WoW has always existed.
and now, with all the Today stuff around games and hw much information is on the internet people learnt this im Classic, TBC and Wraith, that the game was Severely unbalanced. its just the wide population of the game had no clue about it.
I’ve reported nokhud offensive several times because you can get stuck in the terrain and in worst case, you can end up in a disconnect loop that you won’t be able to get out of, requiring GM intervention or using the home page to reset your characters position, which both ruins a m+ key.
This is still not fixed btw.
oh i’ve yet to experience that xD
Basically they are reverting game to MoP fun classes
so for me they have all my support
yes there are classes and talents that should be changed reworked etc
but overall this DF talent system rework and scraping borrowed power It’s a step into right direction.

So your personal opinion is the thing that’s gonna kill WoW? That’s a bit arrogant. How about you stop overthinking and wait for the release and the balancing before you start crying wolf ? I’m sure it will be way better than SL. Oh no , players have power in an MMORPG … we should all be role playing peons and shoot each other with stick arrow and melee with clubs.

I feel like people overreact and act too much as a drama queen. WoW will never have true balance among classes/specs because there are too many and, also this is what separates casuals from good players, just like in LoL. The good players will be able to play the class in a level that is close to the meta classes.
And, also, I don’t get why people get so emotional. I love the game, I pay to play it, but if I don’t have fun while playing it I just cancel my sub. If I get 60+ hours of fun in the first month of DF it is good enough for me
Not always true and dependent on what role. With role i dont just mean tanking/dpsing/healing. But even the “roles within the role” like AoE damage. Prior to the pre patch you will not see a, lets say assa rogue, being anywhere near the aoe output of a WW.
And also many abilities make it significantly easier to deal with something than if you dont have it. Death Knights were a good example this xpac.
But the rule of thumb is, and on that i agree with you, is that that you dont “need” meta picks to clear everything the game has to offer (giga high keys dont count)

I notice two things from such posts.
-
People that cry for classic to be the “real” or “original classic” from the old days then complain that some of the current WoW QOL features are missing which were introduced after the respective expansion anyway. They will often be the same people complaining that some of the QOL features have been added in anyway and then try and argue about the current WoW and not Classic.
-
The person complaining has no clue what they are talking about anyway.
I hope that made sense, im tanked up on medication i think i made sense in my head anyway…
WoW is dying?
That’ll be every year since it launched then

There is always something!!
It’s either another game or Blizzard itself.

it is true though that wow has probably never been more dead than it is right now… even with a new expansion launch.
classic wotlk losing players in all realms across the board doesnt sound good either… considering a lot of them are retail players with nothing to do…
i will wait patiently and see what the hype is like on launch month…
but im expecting it to be very muted compared to previous expansions.
It’s dead because there is nothing new to do yet, that comes later. I logged in on the prepatch, set up some talents and a UI and logged out again.
yeah it’s fine to assume that is the reason why it’s dead.
but i dunno there is a feeling in the air right now that people are tired of wow.
More projecting your bs on forums .
I stopped playing in S4 because I was bored, I also wasn’t a fan of the recycled dungeons. A talent tree and UI doen’st change that there is no content I want to take part in.
If WoW isn’t busy at the actual launch of DF I’ll say they have a point but for now you’re asking for activity during a time when there is nothing to do.

yes but the game hasnt just been this dead right now has it ??
it has been like it for a while during shadowlands.
this is not a new thing.
the feeling that something is up has been there for many months.
someone like yourself probably do not notice it as much as you are very connected in this game you have ur circles of people to play with so it’s easy to overlook whats going on outside those circles.
im telling you as a solo player the reality is vastly different and has been for some time now.

It feels half baked currently. Just off the top of my head the following things concern me.
1 - Some classes are incomplete
I’m mainly refering to Guardian druids here who have been waiting for a blue response for a very long time, they’ve stopped working on the classes as mentioned in one of their blue posts which means things like Guardian will have to wait until 10.1. Brewmaster monks will also have issues due to self healing nerfs and generally being crap against any and all forms of magic damage, once again, like Guardian, the feedback is being ignored no matter how well the brewmasters and guardians submit feedback.
I’m only aware of Guardian and Brew unhappiness but there’s likely more classes that are likely feeling like they’ve been left behind.
2 - World Quests
Last I heard they’ve switched them to a bi-weekly basis, initally they were weekly, according to MrGMs video on it. World Quests can be tedious I can acknowledge that but outside of raiding/M+ there is nothing to do except the invasions however that awards raid finder level loot after it was nerfed down from normal quality.
3 - Class Balance is completely screwed
Right now it’s a WW’s paradise, great for WW’s of course but crap for everyone else, Blizzard have a terrible track record of trying to break up the meta, what will happen is the good will remain meta and the underpreforming classes will continue to suffer until 10.1. I don’t PvP, so I’m not qualified to go into great detail but feedback so far is negative due to Windwalkers currently being OP, hopefully they’ll get nerfed but I’m not holding my breath.
4 - Group loot in LFR
I generally don’t do LFR so it’s not really my problem but from what friends have told me, players are actively delaying rolls hoping others will leave so they can get loot, this is an issue right now and it’s not going to solve itself without Blizzards intervention, if they don’t do anything and ignore current feedback it will 100% be a problem for anyone doing LFR next expansion as well. Personally I feel group loot shouldn’t be an option in LFR it should remain personal to prevent such things from happening.
There’s likely more problems but these were the one’s off the top of my head, maybe I’m overreacting and Blizzard will do some proper balancing passes throughout the season to break up the meta and give other classes a chance to shine but I’m not confident.
Every time a big change comes there are people like you who think it’s going to kill the game.
People like you are always wrong.
