While we wait for more (if any…) updates, why not chill out and listen to the pros talk about holy paladin, its history, changes etc, from legion to the shadowlands beta (especially interesting if you are a newer player / want to learn more):

(If i find a newer video where they talk about how it was during shadowlands and up untill prepatch, i will post it)… *no luck, so reposting the one from earlier:

Don’t forget that we are the only melee range class who have no reduce or absorb healing for pvp . mobility is bad the slow is pvp talents or so easy to dispell
I’ll take AS removed from the GCD if its gonna keep its no generating holy power.
The issue is that it feels terrible to press and the reason is that it takes up a GCD without generating HP, especially with grand crusader turning your spell all flashy and noticable that it came off CD but if you’re into keeping your HP generation up to snuff its not an ability you want to press off CD every time that happens.
So my suggestion is either make it generate HP (imo not neccesary atm I personally find me having enough holy power generation) or take it off the GCD.
In general its value was always in the utility it offered (silence on hit and now with DF if you talent into it damage absorption) and removing it from the GCD would sort of align much more with the utility part of that spell.
Another solution will be take SOTR off of holy power and give us a new spender that doesn’t give mitigation (cause SOTR will still fulfill that part). This would also help make dusk and dawn feel less degenerate to keep both sides up.
