According to the same source who leaked Dracthyr Evokers and talent trees, Dragonflight is coming November 2022. Thoughts?

I’d say november 2022 would be really optimistic given our recent release history… But these ‘‘leaks’’ Who 100% for sure and definetely are no Blizzard insiders haven’t been wrong yet so…

Keep in mind we are getting a season 4 (maybe that’s 9.2.5) in SL, so I would not count on it being november, the season would be very short.

And according to an article the other day, there were leaks just before the expansion launch event that said 2023.
Blizzard have already said it’ll be announced when it’s ready…and given they’ve announced Season 4 and 9.2.5 for later this year, it’ll probably not be this year.

I think late Q2 2023.
There was no gameplay footage in the announcement and to be honest what was presented wasn’t much, just core concepts but no fleshed out proper info.
I think development on the expansion has probably got a long way to go before being ready for release.
However I hope they don’t rush and get this one right. I think the future of WoW rides on the next expansion. They can’t screw it up.

There was gameplay footage though… every zone they showed, was from a gameplay perspective as well. The dragons swooping around, that was filmed from gameplay too.
And also, since Alpha is starting/has started, then it means the zones are in, mobs are spawned and classes are in a base of - here is how they will look- go try them out.
season 4 is not a proper season… they stated that.

Well why would they require a filler if the expansion was due this year?

Well alphas is not out that usually last a good 4 months then another 4 months for beta so thats 8 months from now so you are looking at Xmas earliest no way November but who know’s but its usually around 8 months of testing since classic.

Considering the lack of detail on a lot of the expansion. Not much by way of video content featuring the new gameplay either. I doubt we’re anywhere near an Alpha, let alone a Beta test.
Some say 2023 at the end of q1 at the earliest, which makes me sick. Imagine having this garbage for another year or so. Worst of all, it makes sense because wotlk will be released in 2022. I don’t believe they want to launch wotlk and df at a similar time. I hope they come out with some information soon.

Ofc, and I will do that, although even now I play as if I don’t play. I was just hoping it might come out sooner.

Recently they made 1000 testers permament employes.
If most of them will work on WoW xpac, then things can speed up ALOT.

Take a look at my ilvl and more than half of the gear from last season that I still wear. Last season at this time I was max geared. My playing this season mostly comes down to gchatting and hanging out on the forum. The current sub is paid from the last gold 
given that season 3 has barely started and a season 4 is planned, i d say 2023 at the earliest.
