Dragonflight Season 2 is awful?

Is it just me or Season 2 feels extremely boring and long?

Gearing, heroic/normal raid is extremely easy, so there is nothing to play for. I’m not into mythic raid, so I can’t say anything about that. Having 5 characters with 440+ gear and have nothing to do. The release of season 3 is in… Two month approximately?

What do you guys doing at this time…

I have reached good rating on characters I play and enjoy and have no interest doing it anymore, also, the pugs feel awful right Now.

People can say that “Dragonflight is a good expansion”, but God, it’s so boring and way too casual too. What are you guys doing nowadays? Does blizzard want us to play Diablo or something? I’m not doing that…

Based on replies here “you should be happy for not having chores” and level another 10 warlocks.
So do what you want! What are you waiting for? What do you mean there is no point in world content? Don’t you like “fill the bars” events? Happiness! Freedom! No chores! No borrowed powers! Do what you want!

I don’t like warlock anymore, and I have leveled every class already. The events are boring, the renown rewards as well. In SL we got some cool mounts and mogs with renown, here we get nothing. The dungeons feel boring too. So it is just me, then? Won’t believe it :joy: (its OP. idk why char changed)

I was happy to be told there are no chores. But now i am grinding renown 15… I got a whole weekly checklist.

It is because Blizzard did an oops and made gearing way too fast.

Sadly it won’t be fixed until next season.

Pretty much this, except its not a bad thing.

Would you rather they kept you artificially engaged and didn’t even pretend to respect your time?

If you don’t have stuff you want to do then unsub, play something else, check the graphics outside or whatever. It’s a commercial transaction, not a romantic relationship with a jealous partner.

Leveling jobs in FF14

The road to the Nasz’uro burned me out. I do not want to smack down a heroic raid boss for 3 months to be done.

Will the legendary be good in next season, or it’s just for this one? I was thinking to get it too, but would not make sense to craft something so pricey in the end of season. Doesn’t make sense why it would cost so much. It should be either hard to get or pricey…

To be fair it is said that Nasz’uro will be very viable and is speculated to compete with the mythic ilvl weapons of season 3.

It will probably the the same for the next legendary. But I dread another gatcha aquisition

Works both ways. If you don’t have time to grind, do cHoREs, farm something, just “unsub…” and whatever you said.

Was pretty fun untill 10.1.5 to be honest. Augment, mage rework etc. This season was good for m+, cause you can play them without raid and keep doing your things, but then blizz brought us aug and rework fmag.

its no different then any other season.

the reason you may be bored is because you spam m+ non stop for multiple seasons and gearing has nothign to do with it.

especialy that they started to reuse dungeons now so its the same dungeons you did a lot in past.

ny activity gets boring after some time.

just take a break till S3 launches.

  • Trying to break 3.2k RIO on my main.
  • Having fun in my guild’s social raids.
  • Running keys on alts with guildies.

Pretty much the same kind of things I’d do late in any patch in any expansion.

I honestly don’t understand the desire to be kept busy doing stuff that is essentially just chores. How is it fun to be forced to log into the game to jump through a bunch of hoops to do stuff you don’t really want to do but the game requires it.

Isn’t it good that we can be done with parts of the content ready for next season.

I currently only bother doing one key a week, if that, and go on my guild’s social/alt run on a Saturday where we clear Hc raid, mostly just for a laugh. The rest of the time I’m just doing what I want in game and having fun.

I don’t only spam though, I also do professions, raids etc. But it does seem more boring than SL season 3 and 4. What are you doing in the game that doesn’t make you feel bored ATM?

There is not enough of content in this expansion, in SL we had torghast, cool mogs and mounts from renowns that we could farm, what do we have here? The pirates mounts that we can’t use in this expansion, mediocre mog, no single player content, the dungeons are dull, the raid is easy.

Man, I miss torghast so much. It was such a good feature. The only fail was devs made it mandatory for everyone, so vocal minority destroyed it on forums crying “I don’t wanna do choooreeees”.
For me personally torghast was a legitimate reason to level different classes just to play this mode.

That’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. People all find different things fun, which is why it’s always so subjective.

I have plenty to keep me busy in game and I’m actually really enjoying my downtime where I essentially don’t need to gear farm. But I have always liked downtime in WoW and until Legion it always existed. Times I could just do other things in game.

It’s a time I can do other things, I can farm transmog, mounts, toys, pets. I can look at achievements I’m missing and see if it’s something I can solo or need to find a group for. I am currently working on my six profession alts, some day I will actually get them to cap knowledge as well. I still have a few renown targets let to hit in order to get the extra points from them. I have time to faff about on an alt and level here and there. I completed the Dreamsurge on several alts to get all those collectibles and get them the odd 415 piece.

Atm I’m still farming brewfest on a chunk of characters to try and get the saddle appearance.

I have no set schedule during downtime, however during busy time at the start of a new season I’m busy gearing, mostly in M+ and raiding a few times a week.

I enjoyed the wow borrowed power (not always the means to get it)
I enjoy and endless grind to improve your toon
I like chores
it gives you something to do and new systems every patch which at least changes things up even if you dont like them that patch.
now its just all the same all the time and no progression :frowning:
