Dragonriding is McDonalds content

You get to lvl 70, then PvP until you can get PvP gear for honor, which gives you ilvl 408.

If you want conquest gear, you can do so optionally for ilvl 411 gear, which is only a 3 ilvl increase per gear. :slightly_smiling_face: So it’s not “crucial”, unless you are a hardcore player.

That’s it… Yes you heard right…

There is no “upgrading PvP gear using honor to increase their ilvl”. You just need to get the gear, and then you have the max ilvl.

You CAN upgrade the PvP gear using honor, but that will only affect the PvE ilvl for non-PvP content. :slightly_smiling_face: Which means we can finally do PvE content with PvP gear.

Does one have to grind glyphs/soulbind talents/legendary belt - any this kind of stuff?

There’s none of that stuff in DF.

I think it’s fun.

Way better than the old flying.

There is only tier set bonuses. And those have been made a lot easier to obtain account wide. :slightly_smiling_face: I haven’t looked too much I to it, so best look into it on wowhead.

I strongly suspect alot of people who say they hate grinding actually enjoy it. I mean grinding basically is what WoW is, if you didn’t enjoy it you’d have stopped playing years ago.

Yet this discussion is about dragonriding.

Granted there are other topics where people are complaining about not having Blizzard structure their daily activities but this isn’t

Well, there are all different kinds of grinding.

For example, a person, who is 100% ok with grinding lvl 60 for 3 months, can quit the game over grinding ilvl for 3 months.

A person, who enjoys collecting mats, may find running dungeons disgusting

But you took that one paragraph I said out of context?

Didn’t realise I needed to get called out for talking outside the scope of what OP wrote. I obviously wasn’t specifically addressing the dragon riding flying mechanic in itself.

I AM allowed to talk about something not directly related to OPs topic :joy: “Mr forum police officer”.

Whatever … :person_shrugging: Im not gonna argue when it is obviously a misunderstanding

There’s about 10 people in this thread not talking about dragon riding. Naturally when people converse, it takes them to new topics. It’s called having a discussion, get your head out your backside.

Ooh i like that, a hover mechanic.
So you stay stationary in the air just to look around.

Implement it blizz ty.

The grinds in DF are optional. I don’t PVP but seeing as there are no systems you should be able to just go into it once you level cap and get some gear.

Also you mentioned glyphs along with AP, AP 2.0 and AP 3.0. The glyphs in DF are there to improve your dragon mount, they are out in the open world and you can be done with them in under an hour, also they are acc wide. Enjoy Dragonight.

If by mcdonalds you mean AMAZING because bah dah ba da ba… I’m lovin’ it (little mcdonalds pun for you)

seriously this is even better than shadowlands was, how can you complain about this work of art, every quest is well written and just puts a massive grin on my face when i see the wholesome outcomes to my deeds.

i’m the little guy again, the little hero man who makes the stew for the hungry hippos and plays cupid for the cute centaur men! Back to being the friendly neighbourhood soldier just like I always wanted!

I wouldn’t exactly put it in the “Worse” category.

I think this expansion has hit off very well! I’m definitely not complaining about the 800%+ flying speed, which is like, 500% faster than a normal mount.

I find the feature quite awesome to be honest, and I applaud Blizzard for giving it to us.

Overall, I’m just so glad Shadowlands ended, let’s not go back down that road.

I like dragonriding. It is very fast.
I think Blizzard could add normal flying flying to de zones later for ppl who don’t like dragonridng.
I think they should add dragonriding to whole Azeroth.

Im amazed that People will just complain about everything.

This is prob one of the best improvements to the game.

I enjoy dragonriding. What i do NOT enjoy however, are dragon colours locked behind rep. Customization options? Cool, dont mind AS much, but dragon colours? You taking the p*ss blizzard? They should be a baseline unlock.

So much garbage in one comment, dragonriding is amazing and not liking it shows you don’t have max level or don’t know how to do it bc I can start from the lowest point on the map and reach the highest mountain all with only momentum and abilities. Covenants are also no barrier bc they don’t prevent you from gaining anything that affects actual gameplay, it’s all cosmetics and the campaign continues without grinding covenant renown.
