Hopefully people whom do suffer with mobility issues, involuntary twitches, neurological issues, sight problems and the whole gamut of maladies that flat out disrupt your reactions, will be given an alternative.
I have to agree with the sentiment that just asking for an alternative, doesn’t affect anyone who actually prefers Dragon Riding, if your enjoyment centres on forcing others to play your way…that’s not a good attitude.

Your opinion. Are you struggling to master it? I think it’s brilliant, flying supersonic is awesome, the Dragonriding challenges are super fun too.
I love dragon riding and I have completed all dragon riding achievements. Its very fun, very much what game needed.
At least we do not need to do it all again on our alts… that is miles better than SL. Heck , all aspects of Dragonflight is better than SL. But I do want dragonriding in old zones too , it does not make sence not to have it.

This was a post just about how dragonriding, seemed like lazy way to have new “content” without anything being new really about it, and the faction rep grinding … It is my udnerstanding to continue the storyline you have to rep up, so to those who say it isnt a grind, clearly it is as content is gated behind mandatory acheivements and tasks you must perform.
The flying is easy, i used google to find all the glyphs in 30 minutes, i dont care to fly around and search for them, i already find the concept silly so not interested.
Interesting feedback, seems very much people like it, or hate it, or infact not bothered, so perhaps im just in a certain bracket who prefers “to do”, which is fine.

I love dragonflying, it adds a lot to the game, if people cannot see it, or complain about it, feel free to ground yourself till normal flying is unlocked and experience a normal expansion launch with 0 flying.
they add flying and u have to pay 1 mill for fly skill that way players has to buy wow tokens and they make more money 
I clicked on this expecting it to be stupid, and I’m somehow still surprised at how low iq this post is.
Id be ok with it, if i could do it with dragons like Astral Cloud Serpent, or Invincible, mounts with wings that can also in theory dive bombs, but seems now you gotta not play the new expansion if you want to use the mounts you spent endless attempts at obtaining.
Learn to fly, then. It’s not hard at all. You’re just used to the convenience of the old flying model. Which, under normal circumstances, wouldn’t have been here until patch 10.1 or 10.2, anyhow.

Honestly this community is worse than the average balkan nursing home, must we ALWAYS complain about the entirity of new things? Sure new reputation is like the covenant system, but do you really want that old thing rather than this? Here at least you get a bit of something every time you level up your rep, unlike before, when you got barely anything, maybe price drops at vendors, or purchaseable gear, but now you get a few more questlines, transmogs, activities etc. Also in my opinion dragonriding gets you more involved with the world, so your big exploration in WORLD of Warcraft is not only |mount up>fly up some>face your destination>autorun|. Obviously you could still (somewhat) do that, but now you can somewhat have fun with it, zooming about at ~800% speed instead of 360%… If all you people do is complain about new things in the game, I’m sure classic wotlk would welcome you to their circlej. with the “prime days of wow”, like come on people its been more than 10 years, why would you want to do the exact same things for 10 years?
Stop and recharge is not a “break” as I have to land somewhere and lose all momentum etc.

i realy belived that proffesions will effect ur dragon like as eng u can get rocket engine mount pack besicly add a rocket engine to dragonflight mounts as leatherwork u get a special glide suite what makes it more air dymatic … why did they not add the flying turtle with cannons i have that mount in GW2
So when are we going to be allowed to do this in old zones?
Or is this just a new form of borrewed powers called borrowed mounts, or a reimagining of it since the anh qiraj fiasco?
