Drek’Thar says: I… cough I have been alive for a very long time. In that time I have seen and done terrible things.
Drek’Thar says: Things that still keep me awake at nights.
Drek’Thar says: But these terrible things that I have done and the people that I have harmed - I know them… I face them… and I feel remorse for them.
Drek’Thar says: But the Forsaken. cough What do they feel?
Drek’Thar says: They ravage the land and destroy everything that they touch. How many lives have been lost to their vile poisons?
Drek’Thar says: How many innocents have fallen before the Forsaken war machine?
Drek’Thar says: Countless… countless lives… cough
Drek’Thar says: Yes… I have done terrible things, but nothing could ever be as terrible as lending aid to the Forsaken.
Drek’Thar says: You go back to that spineless orc who would not come see me and you tell him that the Frostwolf clan will not aid the Forsaken. Not now, not ever!
Drek’Thar says: BEGONE!
I rest my case, truly a vile individual, this Drek’thar.
Yes, but they are traitors with style and don’t damage their own faction from the inside. The Frostwolves are minding their own businesses and I love them for that. I Hope they wil survive this war undamaged because the Clan of the noble Durotan deserves much better.
Woah! Frostwolves are soooo yesterday! Didn’t they get the memo that nowadays you have to either be a Forsaken or roleplay a Forsaken in order to be considered a worthy member of the Horde?!
Any hordie that dares touch my favourite Old Man and… ‘one of my favourite clans’ i guess deserves to be slaughtered and raised to serve as an Archerus Training Dummy.
Even in their darkest times Durotan never wished death or suffering to his people(Orcs). Unlike Saurfang who couldn’t care less if all of us would just drop dead as long as the last stand/fight is “hooonarublee”.
Yup, this is definetly something Saurfang has stated, and not Erevien’s biased headcanon he needs to justify his dislike of the character. Unlike Sylvanas, who has never slaugthered Horde soldiers or put the Horde in danger with her reckless actions. Green man bad.
He also says something about the choice between loyalty and honour. Did you miss that part? Just because you don’t share his view on life does not make his opinion any worse than yours.
Aaaaaaand that
Allow me to remind you that Sylvanas slaughtered Horde troops on at least two different occasions. And was absolutely indifferent to their deaths on a third.
Let us remember other traitors. Durotan the Vile, he who refused to drink demon blood, jeopardizing the Horde’s unity in the moment when they were fighting for survival on a new world! I spit on his memory, he put his morals before survival of the Horde!
Luckily, the new Scou… I mean the new Horde is wise enough to forget about these vile individuals! It’s not like they would name their homeland after Durotan and their capital after Orgim, eh? That would be inconvenient.
Up until now, but they have clearly been set up to create conflict within the Horde and start a rebellion against the undead! I hear it’s totally fair to evaluate characters and factions on what you think they will do in the future.
Let me quote it for you to make the split here as clear as possible:
Sylvanas Windrunner says: Honor means nothing to a corpse, Saurfang. You have the luxury of underestimating death, but it is something with which I am intimately familiar.
Sylvanas Windrunner says: Maybe you don’t care if your people die so long as it is honorable. But to me, this Horde is worth saving. Anyone who disagrees does not deserve to stand among us.
Sylvanas Windrunner says: So die your warrior’s death, High Overlord Saurfang. It means little to me. Perhaps I will raise your broken body to serve me once more.
now the old man with the Axe.
High Overlord Saurfang says: Honor, young heroes… no matter how dire the battle… never forsake it.
IDK about you, but I will follow the person who at least tries to get me out of this war alive. And it ain’t Saurfang.
My opinon about values and existance itself, I have shared pletora of times. I am sure you saw it more than once
We just won’t agree here gorgeously haired fairy
Rexxar is a victim of Blizzard’s “understanding” of continuity. He was turned into an absolutely delusional idiot. Whatever that walking retcon says should not be taken into account.
This Horde is worth saving, so i will plunge them into a war unto extinction and raise their corpses after! I will kill my own people because I doubt in their loyalty.
What she means, dear Erevien is: “I am Sylvanas, and I am worth saving. Now go die for my crap, you dumb green brute!”
