Dual spec please

DS. One of the best things with WoTLK - so im all for getting it in TBC as well.

Especially for those wanting to tank and pvp.

We need dual spec

We need dual spec. As a player who plays both PVE and PVP this will be a nightmare to constantly switch between specs.

No Dual-Spec. faction changes, mounts. Retail exists with all those improvements.

I’ve already made a feature request for DS on the PTR.

Not expecting much, but will certainly carry on pitching the idea to Blizz.

Beta is out, lets get that Dual specc going!

Thank you for your effort. Dual spec would make TBC as close to perfection as it can

No worries. You guys are welcome to make your own requests, by the way. Could just log to the Classic PTR and write it there.

i strongly disagree about transmog. While it added a whole new thing to do in the game, it completely destroyed cosmetic progression in the game. In classic or TBC you can just look at a character and tell the differnce between a main raider, and a fresh 60, or an alt. Top end gear looked way better than quest gear on the whole. Once transmog is in the game, you can no longer tell

Lots of my guildies have alts that are better geared than half the server, so what you’ve just said is nonsense.

On top of that, people use model changing consumables a lot. Look at the popularity of Noggenfogger and Savoury Deviate Delight.

And on top of that, transmog is a fantastic gold sink.

Tl:DNR Transmog is actually better for the game than dual-spec.

I don’t feel very strongly either way about transmog, because I never got to experience it. I suppose you would need to inspect people more carefully, but then again, it would give people a reason to do previous dungeons. I’m neutral on this.

But really, it would be a better idea to discuss transmog in a dedicated topic rather than here. This is about the request for DS in TBC, and of course the endless stream of non-arguments against it.

Who told you, that it wouldn’t be a better game, without these changes? I still don’t like it. Although I would love to play a Paladin, and I never leveled an Alliance character to 60.
The more differences between faction the stronger feeling of identity.
In DAoC, each of three factions had different classes. Harder to balance maybe, but a lot more fan.
You like QoL changes. We don’t. And guess what? We are not masochists. We just believe, it wont benefit the game we ALL play.

Edit: “How can you enjoy less the game knowing that a priest can swap PVE to PVP talents before joining arena or for farming (which can make also people less prone to buy gold) ?”
That’s another silly argument. I can do that too.
How can you enjoy less the game knowing that a player can instantly teleport from UC to Grom, instead of waiting 10 (useless) minutes for Zeppelin? Why mount at level 40? Why the leveling is so slow? Why races have different abilities? Why Priests have racial abilities? Why do we need attunements to enter some dungeons?

Correction: you guys seem to think DS would make the game worse. And it wouldn’t, which is why we have these DS feature requests.

You are correct. Some QoL changes, will make TBC, feel more Retail than Classic.

Dual Spec, would benefit us (anti-DS), in the same degree with those who are pro-DS. Why else would we be against it, if we truly didn’t believe that it’s a bad move?
Personally, I was always a “poor" character. I hated farming gold. So DS suits my lazy game style perfectly. But a MMO, shouldn’t be convenient.

we need dual realms, original tbc and retail tbc.

You know that Retail has transmog right? You could like do it there perhaps?

People request a lot of things most are not good. Mostly we think short term that is why big decisions should be worked through with competent game developers. People will always take the path of least resistance and it is the developers job to try and stop us at every turn to make things the way we want it because we lazy and “do not have time” in which case a more casual way of playing should be done or a nice single player RPG.

We have got enough inflation as it is. dual spec would only make it 5 times worse

Yes, just like all the people that want dual spec.
