Man, if only. The worst that can happen in roulette is that you lose all your money. In a PuG you can lose all your money and get verbally abused by a hunter dual wielding proc weapons with no stats.
Yeah the healer needs to be on the same page as the tank and let them die if they mess about like that, I mostly played as healer and its difficult to just let the kids die, but if you dont they wont learn and it becomes a total mess, tank is the boss, their job is the hardest and most thankless, respect the tank
I’m glad there is not dual spec here. Single specialisation is very important RPG part. I hate retail system that allow to change your role every time you want, and also don’t like that changing your specialisation in classic is too easy and cheap.
Respeccing is needed to keep the economy healthy.
Crafts, potions, isn’t that 99.99% of vanilla’s economy?
It wasnt even a popular decision in Wrath, why would it be popular in Classic
That utterly retarded streamer-led spellcleave levelling dungeon meta is why nobody has access to tanks now that we actually need them.
Oh, it would be popular. Tanks and healers would love to switch to dps for farming/solo play. Dps would love a proper pvp spec when doing pvp.
Very few dps with a tank/healing capable class would do any tanking/healing however. As people have said already, you can tank/heal just fine without the talents while leveling. You just need to maintain a gear set for it and maybe take some extra care while doing it.
It would hurt the Vanilla feeling a lot though! Respecing was a major gold sink. It made everyone think long and hard before respecing.
Well I dont mean that people wouldnt use it. But in Wrath it was a very controversial decision that led to tons of angry forum threads:p
There would be angry forum threads if you inserted an extra tree into Elwynn Forest. At least, once anybody noticed. We’ve already had the angry forum threads about Daisy’s shorts out on the Shimmering Flats.
Are you saying that Daisy’s shorts nerf wasnt a big deal?
Yes, I am saying that the sartorial preferences of a minor NPC are completely unimportant to the game as a whole.
Then why was she named Daisy
Yes, yes. Daisy Dukes. Very droll. And before I brought it up just now, when was the last time you remembered she exists (virtually)?
The last time I remembered one of the most iconic things about the whole zone, a race track?
Lets continue with you saying it’s unimportant. If Linken’s Boomerang was named Linken’s Throwing Knife, is that equally unimportant?
Honestly? Yes. Who cares? You still get the reference. It’s immaterial.
How would I get the reference? When does Link use a throwing knife?
Edit: we can continue with these minor differences. What if his name was Pinken?
If you’re so slow-witted that you can’t look at “Linken” as a name, at the NPC himself as a character, and at the icon of the trinket and draw your own conclusions, there is no hope for you.
Ok. So if his name was Pinken?
There is literally a million possible minor changes which ruin the reference.
I’m still gonna throw a meh.
