Quality stuff right here.
So few grps forming in lfg for 50+ dungeons that u can spend hours+ and not be able to find a group to run a dungeon.
Awesome. and thats on a sunday. and on shazz
fakin garbage
And then they say ppl love Vanilla dungeons^^
I think it is more of a problem because of leveling guilds, separate LFG channels, LFG addons, trade chat mix that makes it more difficult then needed, if you do not use all of them you are left out.
You’re surprised that rogues have a hard time finding groups for dungeons on an overpopulated 50% rogue population PvP server?
Seriously?
No one wants rogues, because they can take the gear of druid tanks or weapon, necklace rings trinkets from warrior tanks.
People like Classic dungeons… When there’s loot for them there. Which isn’t the case with e.g. Scholo and Tanks.
People have bad experiences with PUGs and then stick to guild groups…
Even as a healer at 60 I spend an hour trying to get a dungeon then just give up and log into my alt, it’s just so boring. Leveling in classic is an amazing experience, but the end game is so passive and boring at times. Luckily I have been raiding mc for a few weeks now with the guild so I don’t need to do dungeons, would have been nice for the gold though.
I know people despise the dungeon finder, but a dungeon finder that does not teleport you to the dungeon and is not xrealm would have been great. No changes.
The problem isn’t that we have too many Rogues.
The problem is we have too many Mages and who needs Rogues when you can just grab 3 Mages and blaze through dungeons like nobodies business?
Blizzard brings out a MMORPG and gives us a RPG instead.
Goodluck soloing content if your not a Rogue, Mage, Hunter or Lock.
Group content my arshe
Just join a guild - I know it’s pretty old fashioned but it actually works
If you want this to get better, you need other classes capable of tanking, anything else is just not going to have any meaningful effect. People will always take the path of least resistance, that’s just how it is.
Man… If only there were some sort of mechanism in place to simplify all that needless spam and frustra… wait I think I hear some #noChangers foaming at the mouth.
just needs the tbc group finder option, where it lists grp so its easier to see and dont have to constantly spam the chat or /w >insert macro< every tank on 60.
but ye #nochanges clowns who probably already quitted cried 24/7 to prevent such addon =)
I think it’s just a case of being VERY patient. If you’re going into a dungeon to get a very low-percent drop and you have to wait a couple of hours to find a group; don’t bother and find a nearly-as-good item off AH or whatever. If it’s for quests or to get a more average-percent drop, be very patient and eventually over the course of a couple of days you should find a group that wants to do a couple of runs - add those guys as friends and they’re bound to want to do the dungeon again later/tomorrow/later in the week.
You just gotta be very patient and it will all come in good time. Whilst waiting for a group, do other things on your to-do list, there’s plenty to do.
Alot of the changes over the years people think blizzard just woke up one morning and decided to implement changes to ruin wow, but alot of these changes were attempted solutions to problems that existed often the wrong solutions though.
Like the dungeon finder was not just added to try ruin the community aspect for no reason, it was implemented becuase people were sick of sitting in org for 1-2 hours spamming chat bored out their minds.
On my server the majority of groups are for Dire Maul, next big chunk is Maraudon, Stratholme, Scholomance, with some BRD sprinkled in.
My solution is to keep playing my alt while I’m looking for the group casually. Considering to keep playing while the group is formed, on Sunday I’ve spent 45 minutes waiting for a tank.
It also seems to me that there are two types of people, LFM broadcasters expecting whispers and LFG broadcasters expecting invites. It’s funny when two people keep sending their messages to LookingForGroup for several minutes without actually joining up.
I usually just make my own group if no one is making one for a dungeon I need. Generally goes pretty fast. Of course being a healer and not a Rogue helps a lot.
If i was forming a group for a 50+ dungeon run, i wouldn’t take a level 46 player no matter the class either unless i had no other choice.
LFG addons allready do exist in Classic.
