Lets say im in Scarlet Monastery outside an instance. If i enter in an instance and dont kill a single mob just to hide from the hordes and then i go out again and enter again and out again. Does that affect the 30 dungeons a day? If i do that 5 times it means that i have 25 dungeons left in that day? Just getting out attacking some hordes and running to hide while waiting and then out again, do i lose instances?
nop that doesnt count, i think
You can enter and exit a dungeon an unlimited amount of times. The limit only count unique resets you enter.
If you get an addon like NovaInstanceTracker it will alert you when you enter an old or new instance reset and keep track of them.
If you want to purge Boosters I would recommend Maraudon. That’s a sweet 8min ghost run back
When you go in and out without clicking “Reset All Instances”, it’s the same instance. You can run in/out fifty times and you’ve only been in 1 instance.
The limit is 30 instances per day so that is counting the number of times you “Reset All Instances”. Resetting is not automatic. You can reset an instance without killing a single mob in there.
I believe it only counts once you have killed a bossn
As soon as you enter the instance, that counts as 1 of your 30 cap limit. It doesn’t matter whether you kill anything inside or not.
But leaving and reentering the same instance will not increase your 30 cap count, it will only use the original 1 of the 30 uses.
It will only increase if you press the Reset All Instances button and reenter the instance again.
PS. For Scarlet Monastery, all four sections are classed as one instance. So you can go into any or all four and it’ll only count as 1 of your 30.
