I was sort of with you about unnecessary things not being required in normal dungeons, OP, but then I watched your video and read how you framed this as “everyone else is wrong, what can we do about this” and I gotta say, look in the mirror lmao.
sure thing skips arent necessary and CAN cause wipes if not done correctly, but how you gonna complain about everyone else causing your group to wipe after you pretty much let the group and members of it die multiple times over n over slowing it down just as much because you dont press any healing spells, and with this controller gameplay you arent even targeting your party members to heal them when they are dying.
like really man, dont sign up as healer and complain that others are wiping you, when you have like 5+ seconds to react and heal someone and then let them die anyway.
I’ve healed with controller since Shadowlands, KSM and Normal raid level. I know how to heal. You can’t heal group members being killed by trash-pulls when the tank is no where in sight or guess what you die anyways.
I am sorry but this is not true, i watched yout gameplay and echo, embrace and other spell would have kept you alive EASILY.
But you go with a targetless build that has a ridiculously low, and staggered output.
You complain about the tank playing badly while you are as well, and the video is showing you clearly strugglin cause of your build
Timestamps needed, i suppose. 44 minutes video, i am in 4 minutes. Tank seems to just pull 1 pack at a time.
My build has more than enough healing to heal a NORMAL dungeon lmao. You can’t heal DPS getting feared ino packs with no tanks on site. Similarly you can’t heal people falling off the side trying some MDI skip. I’ve got nothing to hide all my gameplay goes online, I could teach you a few things if you like.
honestly its not even the build either, its just him simply not pressing any spells.
yeah dream breaths and stuff going out on full health and then when everyone is dying hes casting living flames and fire breaths while verdant embrace and other stuff is off cooldown and then someone dies or is at like 10% hp
anyway off topic, not here to dunk on OPs gameplay more because thats not the point. just saying I think it’s a bit weird to make a thread qqing like its only his groups fault and asking “what can we do about this” while he’s also significantly slowing down his group by letting them die.
and just as a reminder to anyone out there who plays healer, there are VERY few mechanics and stupid you can’t outheal in normal dungeons as any healer spec if you just press your buttons. if someone dies then maybe yes it was their fault for standing in mechanic or not interrupting, but as a healer we kinda have to accept that a lot of times we can save people from stupid, that’s part of our job.
and to OPs point, I fully agree with the skip in the first dungeon being unnecessary and probably pointless. I just dont agree with their framing.

Ok. So you had a bad moment with an uninterrupted fear cast. Crap happens, i suppose. Nothing to wind up about.
And about an AOE non targeted build; you always have that player that eats mechanics for breakfast. Yes you have theoratically enough heal, but you are also not putting that little extra effort in being flexible and save the idiot. As an experienced healer, as you describe yourself.

Around 20 mins and 36 mins. Seen these type of skips go wrong time and time again…
Flame breath heals with the talent and living flame gives procs of eternal blossom which I’ve got fully pimped out.
Finally some people start to catch up to the results of the M+ racing being the pinnacle of dungeoneering
Lmao, humble i see.
Yet here you are, complaining about tanks in normal when you could probably overheal that damage by playing properly instead of spamming emerald blossom, that has a very niche use in dungeons .
Well ye but i guess that if you favor blossom over echo, the build is probably favor blossom related talent, obviously.
Problem that blossom is a bad spell in 5 man especially for its cost, while echo is insane.
I fail to see how mythic dungeaneering has anything to do with normall dungeans where people might be lower sixtys and not even know the dungean yet o>O
These people did M+ in the past or saw others do it and want to treat every dungeon run as a race.
It is not that hard to connect the dots.
What part of “MDI skip” is not related M+ mentality?
Eternal blossom niche use? Do you realise how good you can make it via talents and then proc it via living flame? Short cool down AOE healing which is perfect for the none-target AOE healing build I want.
Dungeon racing has always been of a bigger factor in normal leveling dungeons than in M+. In M+ count is implemented especially to go against skipping the whole dungeon.
What part of actually testing that with your groups that you do ordinairy run M+ with should be what these tanks are doing?
This is even more on point than the original post. The mass pulling and assuming everybody knows what to do is bad enough, add on top that they assume people know how to skip every mob and won’t even come back to help them if they pull. Then you have these noobs, pulling a chain of mobs all the way, ignoring that people might get hit, the healer might need to heal, thus pulling aggro and getting swamped.
I have now left two groups whose tank was just the worst. I wished Evoker could tank because I’d gladly replace some of the ADHD babies to give people a chance to enjoy the damn game.

M+ or not it does not matter, any tanks who try to give their healer a heart attack need to explode
They shouldn’t. Dungeons are made for 5 people, in most cases there are 5 people who could have prevented what went wrong.
This idea that “the tank should consider Y player cba to interrupt” is just wrong.
