Dwarf or Draenai shaman?

Never played a shaman and was wondering which one of the two would be a better, perhaps more lore-accurate shaman? I think the other one would be a paladin.

Unless i misread, that you want both a shaman and a paladin-- dwarf shaman and draenei paladin?

Since draenei and light go hand in hand.

And dwarf is good for shaman.

I like the Dwarf lore for shaman and the Dwarf personality myself. Looks good to me, totems look good. I feel powerful as a Dwarf in a way I don’t in other races.

I picked Zandalari Troll for paladin, same reasoning basically. Feels strong and I like the personality.

Thanks, these were the options I was considering as well. Actually I just unlocked the lightforged draenai too, so that is an option as well

The Draenei totems are meh, so Dwarf Shamans for the win. Also Dwarf Paladins, unless you really want one of these two to be a Draenei. Then go with (Lightforged - optional) Draenei Paladin.

Lightforged draenei can’t be shamans though.

Dwarves are a nightmare to get a good transmog on tho. Gear just looks weird on them thanks to how Blizzard scales it.

Being an avid player of Gnome and Dwarf characters, gear looks weird on elves and Humans due to the way it scales. So this is completely dependant of what one is used to look at. :stuck_out_tongue:

Since Draenei are more light focused, I would say go with Dwarves.

Wildhammer dwarves especially are really cool to play with. Imagine a shirtless dwarf with tattoos flying a gryphon into the sky and clouds with electricity in his hand forming thunder that sends shivers to the enemies.

And that Scottish accent. Really cool man.

If that’s a question. The answer can only be dwarf. It’s always dwarf on Alliance.

Another cool Alliance race for Shaman is Tauren. Come on Blizzard, let it happen already!

Go panda and be a chunky fluffy raiden with your straw hat.

Black iron dwarves: both shammy and pally

Black iron dwarf!

I only play Draenei because it’s one of my favourite races but Dwarf shamans look good imo

It’s not that hard, honestly. But your transmogs have to be more Wildhammer clan oriented, so more druidish, barbaric or lightning. Basic transmogs looks really good on dwarves.

P.S. check my transmog for an example. Simple = win

Also for OP, I think you should go with Lightforged Dreanei as Paladin and regular Dwarf or Dark Iron for Shaman (dark iron if you planning to play elemental for fire mogs  )

It’s tough, they work either way… Paladin also really suits Dwarves. However, Draenei being Shaman is a little more odd because I BELIEVE they had no such thing until the Broken taught them it and they’re certainly more focused on the Light. Also, as everyone else says, Wildhammer Shaman ftw.

Dwarves are pretty cool, and between a Dwarf Shaman or Paladin, I would pick Dwarf Shaman and Draenai Paladin.

Dreanei female is the only choice whenever available.

Or Dark Iron female.

Not a fan of Regular dwarf females.

Draenei Paladin is also Nice Due to the TBC cinematic and Various WoD Cinematics that feature him.

But even tho Draenei male suit paladin due to that reason, I just can’t resist draenei females.
