When in doubt remember:
Join the Morodnir, we have free beer.
An easy rhyme to remember!
Next we are Dragon Isles bound, but after that?
Perhaps an expedition to Kalimdor! Or the Broken isles! Who knows?

So what can be said of our recent adventures?
Well first off, we got our beards full of sand nearly eaten by half the creatures in Unāgoro! All for the chance at finding an unusual, crystallized dragon hornā¦
We started with a dangerous trek across Tanaris, battling remnant primalists, farraki trolls the elements and-- helping a lost, lonely ogre? What!? we have heartā¦
Eventually we arrived in the crater, and immediately got swarmed by every critter known and unknown to Dwarven science.
Hacking our way through the jungle we got lucky when a rampaging and fearful Stegadon cleared a fallen tree-- shortly followed by a Devilsaurā¦
ā¦naturally, in shock, we made camp and emptied our ale supply.
We soon set out in search of the Dragon horn, seeking answers from a lost Kaldorei scout. In our exploration we visited many unusual sights, got chased by a murderous pack of giant Ravasaur and viciously prodded at by tar monsters all while taking in the fascinating titan structures!
Eventually we found the Dragon horn, twisted and changed by strange energies local to the crater. Sadly we also had been foundā¦
by Kroth the Ravenous
The titanic Devilsaur snuck up on and was intent on making a light meal out of our bearded selves. Thankfully with some quick thinking and far too much running we managed to evade him this timeā¦
Horn in hand, we made ready to head home, but not before it was stolen by a pack of Gorillaās that both tricked us with banana peels and flying fecesā¦
It was a strange night. ā¦ahem
Back at camp we found ourselves ready to return home when a pesky, giant Pterodactyl known to the local explorers as āPeter Doraxā (we refuse to acknowledge this as witty) grabbed our resident wizard and the horn and flew off with him! a daring chase across the crater, over volcanoās and through the jungle ensued!
With the flying lizard grounded and the wizard recovered we made a break for it, as Kroth once again came stomping through the jungle, wolfing the terror stricken Pterodactyl en one gulp!
Needless to say, we promptly wenāt home.
ā¦But that didnāt last either! Soon enough we was called up by Donar, one of our resident Wildhammer, to aid him in finding the source of a local disturbance!
Turns out, someone had been robbing graves, Wildhammer and Troll!
It turns out to be a mad trio of Dark iron extremists, raising the dead to aid an even madder Dark iron Death knight, raised from the time of the war of three hammers and heck bent on revenge!
We soon followed the trail to Dun Garok in Hillsbrad where we cornered the Death knight, and did battle with his risen minions!
While we reclaimed the bodies of the desecrated fallen, we were sadly too slow to prevent the Dark Iron Death Knight from making his escape through a shadow gateā¦ maybe next time? Everyone loves a re-occurring villain!
Now weāre gearing up to see the Dragon isles once again, and Iām sure Frolbar will tell you all more!
Would you look at that. Iāve found three of your ranks in the place where i usually hang out ic. Needless to say, The RP was awesome.
Didnāt expect for a story to be told with the Narrator standing on a table though!
Best Dwarves around, If you need a guild for your Dwarf, Check em out!
The Morodnir has returned home at long last but weāll not sit idle for very long. Brewfest is coming and the Morodnir intends to celebrate heartily. Joined by friends from both North and South Thelsamar will soon be awash with story and songā¦and a fair bit of drink to boot.
After enjoying Brewfest and taking some time to rest and recover (as well as deal with some very busy irl scheduling) the Morodnir have set out again. This time making for the distant shores of Kul Tiras to help the local Roughnecks deal with a grave threat to the local gryphons.
Here weāll have to contend with more than just an overgrown bit of poultry. Let us hope that the strength of the mountain will allow us to overcome the mysterious hand pulling things into place.
The Dwarves of the Morodnir will have their work cut out for them. Interested in learning what becomes of us in Kul Tiras? Then keep an eye out for our next update!
Where to start?
The Morod recently answered a call for aid from the Gryphon wrangling roughnecks of Kul tiras! apparently some terrible bird like monster has ransacked the Gryphons great nests! Swiftly setting off, we made our way across Tirigarde to the Norwington Estateā¦
On our way we encountered a cursed runestone, and some posessed forest animalsā¦ what could it all mean!?
Soon enough we prepared to head out and hunt down the flying terror we sought.
Sadly we quickly bumped into an eerie forest voice, and a hoard of possessed animals in the woods! Fending them off-- Our leader Frolbar was nabbed by a giant, warped and fetid bird! hauling him off to his lair we had to do battle with an army of critters, one of our young paladins was even swarmed by a frenzy of squirrels!
Smashing the idols of the now apparent Drust witch, the animals scampered off or fled and we soon pursued to find Frolbar.
Thankfully our Gryphon riders had landed the beast so we could all engage in a mighty battle!
With the beast felled we returned to the estate to lick our wounds. But we didnāt rest long, heading out two nights later we followed the dark signs that led to the laid of the Drust Witch!
Forming an Ambush we set upon her, catching her with her guard down. Destroying her fetid cauldron and causing her grievous injury. Some of our Dwarves even ventured into her wicked grotto and found scenes of horror, disfigured and twisted bodies butchered together with dark magic!
With the monsters slain the Witch was put to the swordā¦ phew, but one last challenge remainedā¦
A ruddy big mountain!
It was alleged by a friend of the Morod that at the peak was a great surprise! So naturally, as mountain faring folk we had to take a look. But the mountain above the Waning glacier was no easy nut to crackā¦
She had great icy slopes covered in loose snow and rocks, steep enough to break a billy goat.
Deathly sharp ridges, battering winds and perilous slopes had to be navigated!
After overcoming those hurdles we clmabered up a notorious rock face known simply as āThe wallā, to reach our destination and the summit!
Stunned to find it, there lay entombed in ice the remains of a red dragon enslaved by the Dragonmaw Orcs during the second war! bound in brutal and painful harnesses, with ships harpoons in its spine, all while its claw was wrapped around the rigging and crows nest of a Kul Tiran ship! We could only guess as to what happenedā¦
ā¦Most importantly it killed the Orc rider on impact (Hurrah)
Weāre now heading back to the Kingdoms ready for our next adventure!
Yāall hiring and got room for a Wildhammer by any chance?
Always! Just seek us out in game.
Give Frolbar a whisper this evening
Hey
Are you accepting mountaineers?
That we are! But theyd need to have, you knowā¦
ā¦a pulse.
Also it is mandatory they āmountainā a proper beard.
Weāll be resuming our adventures this week after a few days stuck on another plain of existance, deep undergroundā¦ in a certain āMineā /cough Moria /cough
Weāve only just come back up for air!
Weāre off to the Storm peaks!
2-3 weeks in (I canāt even count to 2) and absolutely loving it! Super laid back atmosphere and at the same time a guild thatās allowed me to grow and have fun. Cannot recommend enough!
Oh boy we are eating good in the days ahead. The content on the horizon looks like a hell of a lot of fun.
Indeed! I think the guild will have many new friends!
I was hoping for Wildhammers and druids as the next allied race. But at least dwarves are getting more spotlight.
So what have we been up to?
Helping out one of our Wildhammers in discovering the fate of a rogue (and slightly mad) kinsman and recovering his family Stormhammer. Our path took us northā¦ way, way North to the icy realms of Northrend! The first stop being our much favored Grizzly hills to gather supplies and a little hunt!
With our supplies of venison topped up, we took flight for the final leg to visit our Frostborn kin at Frosthold in the Storm peaks!
No sooner than we landed we had to find out what the locals knew, and it turns out the missing Wildhammer had crashed near the Iron-Dwarves and been looted, a raid on their settlement was in order, with a plan soon thought up!
Naturally, we flew straight in, all axes swinging and kicked some iron-Dwarf As-- backside!
We eventually found the missing Stormhammer locked behind a runed door, and with some ingenious thinking (and some brutal fighting skills we subdued out foes and quickly legged it with the heirloom!
Weāre now back in Khaz-Modan, specifically Ironforge, as we prepare for our next Chilly adventure!
