I mean their capital is Ironforge, like half of their population wields a hammer daily, how come humans have gotten the bonus?
I know this wont get implemented anyway, but i would prefer a weapon bonus for every race, for example:
Alliance
Humans - Swords
Dwarfs - Maces
Gnomes - Daggers (they are so short, every gnomes sword is a dagger)
Nightelves - Bow (cuz like, most of their WCIII units were ranged)
Horde
Orcs - Axes
Trolls - Polearms (Darkspear, i mean, cmon)
Undead - Daggers, half of all UD are rogues anyway, and it fits their background, being backstabbers)
Tauren - Maces, thats actually a difficult one, but if anything resemples the giant totems they used in WCIII its a Mace.
Personally I think I take Stoneform over the weapon specialisations, this can be a real dealbreaker if you go any of the melee classes. Also, Dwarves got Gun Spec.
I didnt mean to remove stoneform from them, rather just adding the mace skill too. And humans can get a compensation for losing their maces, like, dunno, make the invis detect weaker but a constant effect or sth.
And Gun Spec is nice in leveling, but the endgame weapons are mostly bows and Xbows, so no real use there. By the way it is now, a player that wants to get the absolute avdantage in pve must roll a human if he is alliance. Its 2 (or 3?) extra hit chance for free.
My proposal would make every race and perhaps even different specs more viable in pve and pvp.
