No one wants toxicity to rise, we just want some QOL changes to make the game better.
Blizzard DID ban griefers. But it depends on what your definition is, just giving up and leaving the key isn’t griefing
I didn’t experience too much toxicity in the first place, but I’m not surprised if this is the reaction to the news.
It’s a shame that they can’t design a game that more naturally breeds friendship instead of just banning everybody who doesn’t tow the line, but here we are.

You can always be nice to ppl and have a good chat. Don’t blame Blizzard for YOUR OWN lack of communication.
You have to understand that by even suggesting this you risked your account as people could just false report you .
Make sure to never leave key as first person too as automatic algorythms wont care what you written there and rhst others accepted to give up on key - algorytm will jsut see that you left key
For algorythm it doesnt matter what the reason is.
First peopel who will leave will be now always flagged as leaver and griefer - untill blizz puts in vote to abandon key .
Make sure you are not first or 2nd person to leave from now on .
how do you not understand the solution to what your saying is what blizz is doing plus making keys less punishing? Hopefully in s2.
It took months for Blizzard to ban anyone. These people must be accruing 100s of reports.
I highly doubt it will be an issue unless you leave like 20-30 a day or something.
I won’t be held hostage, if i think the key is done or someone is being meme i’ll still leave. Just don’t join just to leave intentionally, don’t say “haha i bricked your key” in response to anything if someone /w you after and i’m sure you will be fine.
It’s all down to that damn affix. I don’t know why this couldn’t be seen from the start.

since when have leavers been getting banned
I never talk so people couldn’t report me.
It’s ridiculous after a +11. All though it’s boring on paper you wouldn’t want any affixes because it’s too tight on the timer and hard enough. They have dropped a clanger this season.
It’s just turned everyone salty. Some dungeons are a lot easier than others. All I wanted was 3k io and I could get it. But the key depletion isn’t good. A mythic raid boss you could just keep going and going at it. But m+ you can’t. Once it’s depleted you gotta build it back up. The keys should come with a few charges. It would make people feel better inviting off meta.
