Hey is it easier to rank up in pvp on a completely dead server with only lets say 30 people on the server?
Or would it be easier to do it on a server with a bit more people on it. Not entirely sure how ranking works in pvp classic.
If there are only 30 people there won’t be a grand marshal. You need a minimum of people to be able to rank to the top. I think I saw an article that you need at least 250 people ranking to have 1 R14 slot. I honestly don’t know if that is the same for anniversary
I’m not playing on the anniversary servers.
So what if I go on a dead server to rank up to rank 12 or something fast then transfered to a higher populated server to continue the ranking to rank 14? That work?
You just need honour……and bgs are shared across realm so r14 is available to everyone who csn be arsed to farm AV throughout April
The system is changed (on all classic versions, including era, sod and anniversary). Now honor caps are fixed and don’t depend of other people on server. You can check honor calculator here, it shows caps and your progress for every rank:

Again, it doesnt depend of other people and on what server you play, you need just fixed amount of honor that is same for any realm
