Before someone will tell something about her gender - no it’s not about gender. She is basically awful - I can’t watch her.
There are plenty of great female casters in other games but Eiya is terrible.

I think we should focus on World of Warcraft’s gameplay and not the person who’s casting the event. Not liking someone who’s casting has nothing to do with the game.
She’s cute.
It’s nothing personal - it can’t say if I like her or I don’t like her.
I don’t like how she is casting and I have rights to criticise her. Rich was 10x better.
It’s your taste. For me she isn’t.
Important to have one caster who may not know as much about the game but can keep the conversation flowing and in check. Being entertaining comes second for the one with that role, even if Rich did have his moments when he was part of the casting team.

Well yeah, Rich is a god. But guess he is not clean enough for blizzards brand.
She is the host - her job isn’t to have knowledge - she is there for entertainment factor and as you said to keep conversation. Whenever she talks it feels forced. She is basically to shy for such job. She might be great at something else but they need better host.
He is too expensive - he works for Valve now.
She’s definitely no Rich, but she’s not bad at the job either.
Not to mention, Rich had done it for -way- longer and Eiya has improved immensely already.

Lol - just watch any hosts in any game. She is awful.
Rich in Dota 2 studio is even better than in AWC.
Also compare Eiya to Shiver from Dota 2 studio. They are both female and Shiver is 10 levels above in hosting.

I’d rather watch Eiya than Rich. Rich was terrible. I’m glad we have Eiya on the casting team, she’s good at pulling the guys out from getting too nerdy.
