Embarrassing myself how by pointing out you play ele shaman wrong, you are one funny dude, in m+ ele shaman isn’t the greatest stop lieing to people or the class is never going to get fixed in future, special case’s like you are probably why blizzard never fix’s the issues with the class because you are to dumb and keep lieing to people saying you top dps all the time. you dont even know the basic functions of how to open in combat and you chat pure garbage… you are just sabotaging the class dude with your delusions

He’s is the reason the class is in a sorry state, super casual player with no idea. Throws his hands around because he’s achieved 2.9k io whilst being carried by friends. Completing 22-23 this season isn’t hard, Jesus I even swapped to healer with super high mast and did this… when you hit 3.5k as elemental shaman come back and let me know how you’re top DPS my dude.

If you must know in playing a troll because i love free 10% haste on bursts. Nobody is hitting 3.5k with classes that aren’t in meta, and im not sayinf they’re meta, im saying they are gud. Also why are you calling me casual player and stuff when my m+ rating is pretty higher than yours. If your final arguments are that im getting carried in all these runs or the dps i play with are trash, please, i beg you, stop playing this class and follow meta

just did a DoTi fall 23 - damage for ele isn’t as bad in higher keys did 248k dps but still got out dpsed by the demo lock and bm hunter - but this still depends on tanks pulling small pulls favours ele shaman more anytime a big pull happened hunter bursts 1.2-1.3 mil ele sits at 500-600k if lucky with procs, defo not balanced on uncapped aoe

Isn’t the whole point of this game to also have fun without the expense of nitty gritty research into our favourite class’ rotation and BIS stats/gear?
My ele sham is by far my favourite and nothing will give me the same joy as throwing out multiple meatballs in 1 GCD. Quite frankly S2 was a bore because the time investment was too high for some who touches grass quite frequently (full time work) and so being able to jump on WoW after work now with S3’s tier set I find it is a lot more exciting and easier to have fun with. Why else do I pay a subscription after all? I pushed up to +20 last week in my first proper return to PVE which was exciting for me as I’m sure it would be for many others.
If I had S2’s tier set, I wouldn’t have bothered and might have even just left myself unsubbed because the fun just isn’t there for those who can only casually play around work. Which is probably close to 80% of Blizz’s player base right now.
TLDR: Long live S3 tier set for the casual andy’s who have to work full-time and play a game to enjoy their life.

The majority of the high - end shamans disagree with you (go check the class discord). But the problem is low-skill andies like yourself have decided they can’t play the game, so they’d rather self-sabotage, than deal with the inconvenient truth.
I mean, high-end shaman players tend to favour season 2 build. Knowledge and actually being able to choose their damage, not depending on ascendance to maybe not be horrible. Ele shaman with fire build is just poor. Sure on cleave fights you can do good damage, but all the others you get taken behind the shed. Flame shock application mechanisms is awful. Being target capped is awful.

-Our fantasy is lightning, not spamming a builder, that on average crits for only 70-80k.
-If we maintain s3 set bonus, without any class changes or buffs, we will stay bottom. That expectation copium, which probably will not happen.

4.If you think high rated ele shamans favour S3, you are out of your mind. - Go to the shaman discord to actually learn why people dislike s3.
- If you beat DH and BM reliably, you play with trash people.

Season 2 was better dps. Season 3 is more fun. Season 3 all the way.
Lava ele has always been more fun than lightning ele in my opinion. The mobiity, the visuals. Lightning ele doesn’t feel good, it feels like you actually get punished for weaving in other abilities, and just end up spamming LB and CL, which looks cool but gets old fast. Stormkeeper doesn’t feel as good as primordial wave.
If your concern is that ele is “better” as lightning than as lava, then I advise that blizz just buff Lavaburst damage. It’s not such a hard fix.

With S1 all builds are playable: e. g. Stormkeeper AND Meatballs
S2 only Stormkeeper
S3 only Meatballs
All other issues are because Elemental Shaman needs a rework. No Setbonus can solve that problem.
BTW: when you click on “hide result”, then there is button “remove vote” and you can vote new.
S3 all the way. Nice damage and satisfying game play.

There are 4 specs in the game which haven’t reached 3,5k score yet and on the 25+ key levels ele representation is 7th from the bottom, so I don’t think the spec is sleeper OP this season. 
For me the current set is fun enough for a season, but gets frustrating sometimes when I have bad ascendance rng. Also, as mentioned by others, I too miss playing with flash of lightning. If the S3 bonus ends up winning the poll, I guess I’ll just main something else for a patch.

you said a lot of nothing, for the average player, PI and aug doesnt matter, lightning will never be cooler than lava due to its ancient animation, and the damage is not better at all
also, meatball is way more satisfying to play , especially on ascendance proc, than spaming lightning…just ew
Poor Progress/Meta Slave issues, that doesn’t affect 80% of the other (elemental shamans) player population. Fun gameplay will thus always overweigh statistics and performances.
I do 20s keys just fine, and thanks for insulting my friends that do perfectly fine for the related key levels though (BM and DH).
And I don’t need a class discord to say me how to have fun with my Shaman.

they should just have it so all 3 tiers will be available and not subject to one tier slot
-yes they might have to spend more time balancing if there is a drastic difference between builds but its not like they care about bringing class’s in par with other class’s anyways, just look we still the only class without a raid buff, which they should of addressed a very long time ago so it made it viable for us to be picked for raid teams

S1 - give opportunity to play both builds at a worse version of each build which is kinda sucky in my opinion -
its not that hard for them to set up a vendor for tokens to have all 3 tiers on and cataclysm option to choose from the 3 different tiers, this also might be able to open up more farm potential to set up different builds depending on what boss’s you are fighting
-its the last major patch of the expansion if they are not going to make a new tier then let everyone to pick there own favourite build or playstyle they want

When damage is too low, then they should simply buff us! (all spells, not only the useless EQ)
A Setbonus is not good only because there are some lucky moments where you can make a little bit more damage. :-/

Thing is, players like you think because of your anecdotal experience, things are fine. However when you look at actual data, ele shaman is bottom of the barrel.

We are not meta slaving, we are playing ele shaman at a higher level than you are, so what we do is the very opposite of meta slaving. We try to make it work, you play casual.
