Schedule for the Festival from August 28th to 30th
Friday - Day 1 - 2020-08-28T18:00:00Z
Draenei Celebration - The End of the Exodus
Opening speech by a Draenei Anchorite and a Lightforged Priest
“Pilgrimage of the Draenei” - walk across Azuremyst whilst remembering the Exodus (story event)
Gathering materials to decorate the festival grounds (side-event 1)
Decorating the festival grounds (side-event 2)
Conclusion day 1: the Draenei come together and enjoy a feast, served with Draenor-traditional dishes. This is also when gifts are exchanged among each other. Every Draenei hands out gifts to family or friends and even to strangers.
Saturday - Day 2 - 2020-08-29T17:00:00Z
Festival for all Alliance members
The two-hour Market opening at about 19:15 server time (clothes / sweets / food & drink / Draenei specialties and goods)
Workshop hour! (20:00 server time)
1.) Artificer’s corner with Artificer’s Torahuurn and Talagar
2.) Anchorites TED talk of the Naaru by Gora
3.) Draenei jewelery crafting workshop by Tatelia
About 21:05 server time - Pair and Group Dances with dance coach Kha’raas
About 21:05 server time - Archery competition “The Sacred Hunt” for everyone! We will be using Draenei bows → finalists receive a real price! Event hosted by Vy’luun, Peraamos and Kheevani
Conclusion day 2: About 22:30 server time
Grand ceremony of the Naaru
Ceremonial walk together with all Alliance Members and an intense celebration of the Light!
Sunday - Day 3 - 2020-08-30T17:00:00Z
Festival for all Alliance members
Jed’hin Showmatch at about 19:10 server time - Hartuum vs. Polemus
Menagerie of Draenor at 20:00 server time with hosts Kheevani and Peraamos
Elekk race about 20:45 server time
(MEETUP begins at 20:30 server time)
Alliance members bracket + Draenei bracket → finalists of both races do a final race - hosted by Vy’luun, Peraamos and Kheevani
Conclusion day 3: About 22:00 server time
Banquet with a closing speech and a gathering of all participants.

Cool. This being a Festival of Light, I assume the more darker races of the alliance will not be welcome. Namely Void elves and Demon hunters?

I wouldn’t think they’d be welcome at such a festival, them being polar opposites to the idea and all. And as much as it might upset some OOC-Is-My-IC-Rp’ers, opening stuff to all walks of life (light AND dark) might harm the concept of the festival. Some things just aren’t mean for one’s character.

You are correct, Gora. It is too complicated to allow for Void Elves and Demon Hunters to participate, as this festival is centered around the Light and the Naaru, with Draenei culture at its core.
There would simply be too much Light energy present for them to have a good time, unless they desire to get a terrible, terrible sunburn.

I do believe there’s a festival on tonight. 
OOC information regarding the design of the three-day event will follow soon!
Some jobs and activities have been filled with people.

You have multiple options:
- simply join the Draenei discord for updates and involvement
- find Vy’luun IC, she lets every Draenei she meets know that there’s a festival coming up
- decide whether you’d like to help us host some sort of little event during the festival, and we will assist as best as we can
- show up at the right time at the right place, details will follow once we close in on the event weekend

We are looking for DRAENEI:
- MERCHANTS who want to host a market stall / booth with Alliance friends to back them up (every stall requires a Draenei as host to be considered a valid merchant on the market), revenue only covers expenses; profits go to the Temple of Light in Shattrath and to Draenei in need on Azeroth
- HUNTERS who would want to join in on the Menagerie on Day 3 with their pets from Draenor
- Guards (Draenei Peacekeepers) (2 slots remaining)
- Anchorites/Priests who wish assist during the ceremony of the two lead Anchorites
- HOSTS FOR THE LAST AVAILABLE EVENT SLOT on Day 3, free choice regarding the topic of the event as long as it is Draenei-based
