So, I’ve been trying to transfer a character for a while now. But I cannot. Because I have to empty my empty mailbox, before being able to transfer. So, anyone got an idea how to do that, as I don’t really feel like waiting the 10+ days it apparently takes for a ticket to be adressed…
Do you have anyone on ignore?
You have to delete everything that is in your mail box. That includes mail that is read but still remains in your mail box.

When people/NPC’s mail you something with some text attached you cAn take the items out but the mail remains with the text still in your box, have you deleted these?
It’s completely empty, no mails, no items, no nothing…
And removed everyone from my ignore list, as I saw another forum post about that possibly being the problem.
Maybe pending mail? Takes 1h for mail to arrive. You wouldnt see it in mailbox

No, I have not.
As long have you have no addons active when you look, that means all addons not just mail ones, then the only option is to wait in the dreaded ticket queue.
You can try a UI reset, this means moving your WTF and Interface folders or renaming them, you can delete the new ones and rename or move the old ones back afterwards.
How does it work if you’ve sent mail to someone that hasn’t opened it? An alt or anyone really I suppose… If that mail is sat pending in someone else’s mail box which could potentially be returned could that stop anything? Maybe a COD mail especially?
Honestly have no idea but it’s just a thought 
I don’t know about the COD stuff but sending a mail will not stop you transferring, the mail will be deleted instead of returned.

Hmm I’m all out of ideas then😂 maybe try another char to test if it’s something in general going wrong or if it’s character specific problem?
