Enchanting the Red Defias Mask, possible?

Im trying to enchant the Red Defias Mask witht the +8 agility libram, I got someone to get the enchant and to try and enchant it in the trade window but it doesn’t work.

It’s confusing because I tested it with the pants in the trade window and it worked, I tested to enchant a grey item and it worked. Also tested if you couldnt do it on bop items, but apparently you can. anyone knows why it wouldnt work on the Mask? It’s a normal helm after all.

I also found this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7lRQd_AGWc8 7.35m where the rogue has the enchant, could be a private server though.

Afaik you cannot enchant an item of lesser quality than Uncommon (green), so even hearing your claim seems weird to me.

I believe this reason is in place for those items to work as a 2-way street. You can both enchant and disenchant items of quality equal or superior to “Uncommon”.

EDIT: Actually maybe you can enchant white items as well, but never heard of grey ones.

Well I don’t think that is true, during Classic I had a stave with spellpower on it that I could mail to other characters same goes for fiery weapon on swords.

Just make sure you put it in the “will not be traded” box.

Yeah, now I remember rogue lvl 1 and lvl 10 twinks with enchanted whites. But do you remember greys too?

I’m not 100% sure, but about 90% you should be able to enchant it.

You definitely can enchant any quality of armor. But i’m not sure if the libram enchants are supposed to work through trade window…

I already said that I tested the enchant on greys and it worked , what’s there even to question ?

I also said that I already tested enchanting through the trade window it worked.

I could have avoided writing half my post if you guys don’t even trust what you’re reading.

Maybe the mask is just a vanity item.

It is good to know that you tried these things on Classic and not on a private server. Otherwise why bring up the private server-supposed video as well.

But that’s fair, sure.

You can enchant grey items.
I have seen people trying to sell grey daggers on AH with the ‘Fiery Weapon’ enchant.

That video is not from a private server btw. It is from early TBC.

Did nobody think to check the actual item…?
It has no armour category, no armour value, and no durability.
So yeah, it’s a vanity item.

you cannot enchant the with the head/leg libram on items that are not cloth/leather/mail/plate

sames goes for the seasonal items ( red/green winter hat )

This makes sense. I have long been disappointed at my inability to poison my fishing rod.
