why do you personally like to do daily quests so much tied to character powerincrease? did you thinkgame was worse beforehand when it wasnt nessecary to do such chores?
do you wash your dishes and laundry by hand?
how is it worse when people can choose what t hey want to do in the game?

Miss the days when i was not forced to do everything.
When i had the freedom to say “let’s stop for a second”, how much i Miss those days.

I do things which i consider are worth time/effot and rewards are good from them for me.
That is your subjective opinon what is necessary and chore for you is not for me.
So you simply choose to not do things and you dont get rewards from them like now .
What are you even talking about in last part you chose to not do it and you are done .
You are just envious because someone else can choose to do it and go ahead of you./Get things you dont since you choose to not do it and you feel " weird" for not doing it so you want to remove what they have got becasue you do not want to do it.

ye and im 100% certain your life must be either boring or you dont have a job if you fill your day voluntary with 1shotting 100k hp mobs for an hour to get the dopamine kick.
also its not “choose or no” you have to do it sooner or later if you want to keep up with others. essences are huge. for example breath of the dying alone is a flat 3k dps increase as a minor. thats huge.
voluntary and choice is when rep grinds award things like mounts, toys or skins.
character power increase is the core of mmorpgs.
nverever comes a person home after uni/job & doing irl chores and then think: Hey lets log this mmorpg and play solo oneshotting some low hp mobs

Well, I think often people aim too much and quick. Meanwhile I made priorities, for example. I should do more because I do raid mythics, and do M15 (you cannot just walk in there without some off dungeon/raid preparations) , but I have made clear myself what I do need, and what i can skip. I.e. I do not like doing daily quests, luckily i do not need the R3 essences from either reps. So i save time there.
I did not need neck 80, but I did put some thought into getting 75 with least amount of time spent.
I keep doing assaults because I find that r12 cape is important as was R6. But I see I do not need to do every small vision.
If i fill one small step or goal, i can do something else. And ‘end game is a full time job’ - then 1st question is : what is end-game for OP?
There’s two things - what player needs to be “on level” and what player “wants” need and want might be two different things.
I know I should have my cape 11, but I had some resources short for 4th run, so I had two options, go do those dailies, or wait next small assault. Looking at upgrades, and looking at what we progress in raid, i am good as is, and I wait next small assault. if I die in current boss, its not because of my cape, but because of a. healers mistake b. my co tanks mistake c. me being an idiot. None of the 3 steps cannot be avoided with better cape.
… so I did not spend extra hour doing those dailies. I wait patiently.
If people find that they spend too much time not having fun, they should 1st look at their goals and needs. i found game took too much time if I play alts, I stopped playing alts most parts. I am likely with lowest actual in-game time compared to many posters here and I dare say I have access to end-game - M+, mythic raids.

As i have said you have issue with others goign ahead of you becasue they choose to go and you want to force others to play like YOU want.
So they are as slow/weak/etc as you are so you want to stop otehrs for doing what they want.
You can not take you are “super star raider” in classic when there are others who are " better" done more .
Simply you are jealous and envious and want to stop otehrs sicne they “outshine” you and did more and are better.
NOthing else is going on here.
im not slow. i just want to do it when i want and not when a daily resets tells me.
how can you not get that its not about the grind.

Nothing tells you it resets daily simple as that you do daily quest or not .
You are actually trying to slow everyoen else down becasue they play how they want and not how you want.
why would i be jealous of someone without a job flying in circle clicking on caches for an hour/day ?.
nobody gets slowed because people who play more can still grind more?!

with daily reset i cant get my nazjatar essence when i want. i have to do daily resets. even when i play 6h on a saturday i can only get 300 follower exp.
you have to log in daily or it will take months for something as simple as this.
why cant they make a weekly cap of 7x300 but you are free to choose when you want to farm it?
what disadvantage do you have?
