Way to skip the rest of the post and point and the word “casual” means different things to different people you do not own the term but as always you are way off point and totally missed what the OP was on about very poor trolling.
Causal is a meaningless word.
Some use it to say they don’t focus on hard content.
Some use it to say their time commitment is “i play when i feel like it” so they dont schedule.
Other use it to say they play little.
Being 608 could very well be achieved by “casual” as well, depending on what the term means for you
OP if you want people to read your stuff you should learn to synthesize, a wall of text worthy to compete against the Great Wall of China is not the way to go.
Not in the first week of the season no!
If its time he no lifed the game.
If its ilvl he went overboard also.
If its keys he is doing like the old what 15s?Under all the definitions he is not a casual.
The word casual exists entirely to allow people to defend their point of view from others.
“You don’t complete +400 keys, you’re a casual”
“You don’t have that legendary that makes this content balanced, so we can ignore you because you’re a casual”
It’s a weapon these days sadly.
I think you are thinking about DF s3 dungeons , we have now revamped ones and hardly anyone is doing 15’s they would be like doing season 3 “30s”
devles before nerfs were very easy and gear dropping was 603 so not much to no life tbh.
What?
He said he is doing 6 or 7 which by the new rules are the old guess 14 or 15 not sure.
So again what?
He had to run like tens of them to get to 608…you don’t only have 1 item on u.
Pff
Queing to dungeons all day long without getting inv is just another monday for dps players, especialy for off meta specs. Not saying its good, but it is what it is.
Queing for dungeons you didnt touch since start of the season and trying to learn em in ppls +8…9s’ is a bit questionable since you then said that you dont wanna push your own key since bricking it feels , yet actively trying to brick someone elses.
Since i play sp, excluding 2seasons of DF where shadow was broken af, i do get xour frustration. I realy realy do. What can i suggest to you is take a break, come later into the season or even close to season end. By then all the catch up mechanics are in place, ppl are geared usualy farming crests with their naked alt friend etc. Pushing your key is then a cakewalk, rpogress is fast and fun. You have to get the fomo feeling out of ypur head because in wow it realy is a complete ground reset each season.
Also, in these scenarios…it is a cliche…but push your own key. It isnt that scary, or anoying or whatever it may be for you, as it looks. Usualy you dont even need to talk to anyone. You can cherry pick ppl with exp and gear etc…do exactly what other party leaders do to you, as a leader you will also very quickly understand why whispering to leaders isnt leading to inv but rather quick decline. As usualy those players spam, and if not invized theyre rude and toxic.
Ok calm down i misread what you said no need for you to be so angry and like i said we didnt have to no life to get that gear at 600+ no idea why you are so mad but ok.
Someone being max geared before the season starts is not casual with any meaning of the word… they complain about progression while buying it guessing crafted gear in this case?
Ok i think you need to calm down and reflect .
I said before nerfs delves were easy and if you had keys dropped 603 gear, also there was crafted and vendor gear and BOES you could buy not so hard to get to that item level.
If you are to reply to me again please be more calm i have not been angry towards you so please chill.
I have a ton of irl friends playing the game 10 times more than what they do during the rest of the expansion in the first few weeks.
Also, as you said is a small timeframe, maybe they can commit more time playing that few weeks and then lower it down a lot.
Its a stupid argument over a meaningless word anyway. Literally arguing over a useless word
I am not mad or angry.
I just dislike being educated wrongly without even reading properly what I said.
You had to have tens of keys…and run tens of delves…
My point stands in all scenarios.Does not mean that if in group delves were easy he is a casual. He still had to run a lot of them.
Please read posts fully.
Keys were not even out that was the point just delve’s/normal/heroic raid and BoEs. The op is talking about start of m+ and mythic raid season which started a month later.
pre Bran nerf devles were easy for everyone.
You need to fully read the OP and my posts again before ranting at me thanks and now i am going for dinner have a great evening.
Not true.He was doing nothing for me as a dps.Thats why I took him as healer initially and stuck with that.
You have not understood what I wrote either(I was talking about delve keys,Restored coffer keys not m+keys,)…whatever, its ok.I read the topic fully and what you said the same.
You did not read anything I said properly and just jumped me…pff.
Have a good evening.
see this is the first wall of text i read in ages
i feel sorry mate - if i didnt decide on week 1 (saturday evening ) to quit m+ my experience would be most likely very similiar to you
seeing how in those 3 weeks i managed to get 7 alts operational in dvelves and this week have all 3 dvelve GV options for all of them - yeah this was correct decision . i have fun midlessly farming dvelves and gearing them up
if i didnt take it i woudl be as frustrated as you are.
reality is untill enough players openly boycott M+ nothing will change.
generally on week 3 of the season i’m pushing and enjoying because it’s hard in 12+ but because we are not enough stuff and learning strategies. It’s the first time i cannot finish a simple maxed raid chest because a wipe break the key, people are randomly OS, Xal’atath adds chaos on bosses…
Tbf after the changes they are still very easy, apart from that Short period where they made them impossible in 5man groups (which was actually more funny than frustrating).
I dont think they need to touch Delves at all to fix m+ tbh. All they need to do is some changes in where Gilded crests start dropping and get rid of that horrible 15 seconds affix and voila, smooth progression from Delves to m+. Sure maybe delve ilvl is a little high for its difficulty but i dont see an issue with that when the gear progression in m+ is smoothened out, let Delvers have their loot as well.
This is exactly why you won’t get invited to harder content.
Nobody will take risks, you either accept that as a DPS you need to sort your own groups, or you play a healer or tank, choice is only a luxury of roles in high demand.
