I am a level 59 Rogue lvling engineering can someone advise which is Better Gnomish or Goblin and if I make stuff with one can I change to the other and still keep the stuff

Go gnomish first to get the gizmos as you can keep and use most of them after you have gone goblin for the bombs.
To do both you will have to level engi twice, because it must be completely unlearned to take the other specialisation.
what are the best gizmos for gnomish and how effective for PVE ?
Does this actually work now? Saw a topic last month complaining it did not.
I am just waiting for someone to confirm if it works before I choose a spec
I can’t confirm either way as I haven’t reached 60 and done it myself yet.
The gnomes have several nice gadgets including a mind control cap, the gnomish deathray, a portal to winter spring and others. Read the tooltips carefully to see what is required to use the device, but most of them just require engineering to be a certain level so in theory you can use gnomish stuff as goblin engineer, but maybe something is bugged ATM idk.
I just went goblin to self supply sappers etc and i had a friend who is gnomish to craft me mind control cap, net etc. I think i just lose death ray but who cares.
If u wana save yourself some golds time and headache simply go straight goblin, its better, most items from gnomish can be bought and u can use them, no need to level engi twice, only good thing that is BoP and requires gnomish eng is death ray…
