Bro how do you know the content is boring when your main fearfrost has done 0 content bar low content on season 1.
Also the purpose for the 20 renown skip is so you can be completely up to pace with the campaign stories that it offers including being able to level professions to max effectively.
You get better gear from the new zone world/main quests in a couple of hours, lvl boost is in the game for ages, the only advantage is that you get the lvl20 reputations as well , if you care about those.
Urk - that’s not cheap. Considering you get an Enhanced boost for free with the pre-patch you may as well just buy tha… oh I get it now.

Exactly, the same skip they’ve offered EVERY expansion since character boosts were introduced.

the thing i have an issue with is that the boost costs more than the base edition for the expansion
When buying a TWW base edition you get one free enhanced level 70 boost and Dragonflight.
All editions include an Enhanced Level 70 Character Boost and the critically-acclaimed Dragonflight expansion³
Its true its more then Dragonflight base edition itself though, I think they’re targeting future expansion or returning players with this offer.

they’re probably targeting people who already bought the expansion and wants more characters since it’s literally raid-ready with renowns etc. a great offer to start with an alt

I can’t imagine paying money to skip the game.
Also, leveling is actually pretty enjoyable with the talents, and doesn’t take long anyway.
It’s just poor money management skills in my opinion to buy a boost.
Its only money, and the great thing about it is that you get to skip all that crappy questing and being around other players and get straight into the proper part of the game.
Well, my money and my work is worth more than skipping a few hours of playing, especially when i actually quite enjoy the leveling.
You could make this argument about anything also, when does it stop? When you can literally buy top gear from the story in a sub game?
Have you ever considered that maybe one of the reasons why leveling is less then stellar is also due to selling a boost so you can skip it?

I dont see the point in boosts tbh but if people will buy them, blizz will sell them. Down to the persons perogative in all honesty.
I will say the “old style” boost brought you up to the current expansion, not the current patch, you still had leg work to do. They have effectively monetized the timeless isle imo.
I remember when a friend joined the game and wanted to play with you, you would either help them level with your main or level an alt with them… probably a hot take but its just one non important persons opinion
I remember coming back to the game after a break 4 years ago, when BfA was at the same point as DF is at now. I made some friends and joined a guild with people who were doing endgame content. The awful slog of getting my character to the point where I was ready to join them in the content they were doing was almost enough to put me off altogether. This boost is a fantastic idea for returning players.
WoW used to be a game where you wouldn’t want this because it was skipping the journey of your character and any attachment you might have to them.
The issue isn’t that they sell it, the issue is that people want it.
Are you legit angry that the boost give 424 gear? Something that can legit be brought from the AH for a couple of thousand gold?
