I was trying to farm some plaguebloom, as they are 6g 54s each. There are literally bots (3 mages in my example) that jump me, and interrupted me from picking the flower. Then a member of the opposite faction comes, and picks it.
Just increase the spawn rate of some things left and right, please do something!
so calculate…thousands of bots, paying for sub too.

Not really. They can do mob grinding 24/7. They’re bots after all. It’s pretty fast actually.
I had a little fun lately watching one of them mages dying constantly.
I did the south eastern Desolace quests, especially the skeletons. The SM pre.
So I had cleared the way in and started to do the plasma collection when a 39 mage bot joined. Only mobs available at that moment was the group of 4 skeletons under those big bones. Not a good target for a lonely mage, since they have a nasty kick.
While I did my quest, keeping the area clear, the bot kept dying over and over, either on that group of skeletons or the summoned centaur ghosts

The solution in my opininon is to make as it works in SoD. The high lvl dungeons drops tarnish coins from each boss one time a day.
From the coins you can bye crates that will contain high lvl erbs, ore, leather or other things that are easy botted. You could also bye recepies for crafting and 0,5 set pices and wrist + waist from T1.
This makes dungeons keep living and still needed after you got youre pre bis.
It keeps prices down and keeps booting down becouse it want be any good buissenis to do it.
One dungeon tour will make so you can bye 2 - 3 crates. 4-6 days touring will make so you can bye high lvl item or crafting recepies.
In my belive we have some realy good soultions to a few problems aded to SoD and they should put it in all classic versions.
That is really a lot. But as I don’t raid currently, I don’t know the prices. The last time I really did raiding was in original WotLK and then we didn’t need so much consumables or they were cheaper. Something must have been changed in the meantime.
I’m not sure if I will raid in TBC. Essentially I want, but if the buff foods are not affordable or if I’m forced to permanently listen to Discord, I probably won’t.

I don’t like farming too, it’s a waste of time because it is boring and stupid. I don’t do boring and stupid things. Buying gold is also not an option. I don’t like the way this game is going.
You can only really use 3-4 consumables in Wotlk and their price is a fraction of the ones in classic, plus their impact is relatively smaller too. For example flask of the frost wyrm in Wotlk gives 125 spellpower and costs well under 100g while supreme power in classic gives 150 sp and costs over 100 gold. Needless to say wrath gear has several times the spell power of classic gear, and the gold is much more abundant. And you can use a spellpower elixir and fire elixir on top of a flask, which you can’t do in wrath.
Buffs should be significantly more affordable in TBC, but if you are unwilling to join a voice chat, especially in later raid tiers, you really shouldn’t raid, so a good decision there.
Yeap that’s me, trying to sell some enchants to people asking for them, but it’s hard because there are always several bots who auto-invite and auto whisper anyone who says the word enchant in chat.
Sadly, buying gold absolutely is an option, I know dozens of people who bought gold and none got even a warning, let alone a ban. When Naxx drops and I suddenly stop talking about gold buying on the forum and just pretend it doesn’t exist, you know what happened 
I won’t be farming every free evening I have to buy damn frost and shadow pots and T3 mats on top of everything else I buy. Probably just unsub till TBC after one Naxx clear.
Why are the people so obsessed with pots and flasks and buff food? According to my experience in TBC and Wrath, winning a bossfight is more about skill then about fully potted. I remember (and this is one of my sweetest memories, I told this story often), when we went Gruul, the tank died due to some circumstance and then the boss was tanked until the end by my hunter pet (big red angry cat). This was possible because the healers did react well, they switched their healing target and they healed without complaining (and without Discord, of course). This was not about ‘how big is the healing power’ but about reaction and adaptation to the current situation. Yes, it’s better if one has more spell power or damage output, but nothing beats skill and playstyle.
You won’t be banned if you spam only in services channel.
This is true for most of TBC and Wrath, especially trivial joke fights like Gruul.
But after you try to progress Kael or Vashj or Muru you will go buy every single buff available to you.
Naxxramas has fights that are basically designed around chugging protection pots like Loatheb with shadow and Sapphiron with frost. Like, even with BiS naxx geared world buffed raid you would still take 2 pots per each fight for safety.
And than you realize you don’t need 90% of all that crud to complete all raids up to naxx , and even in naxx you need like half of the above , especially if you come stomping in with world buffs .
But of course if you want to push parses and flex your dps and at the same time have no profession and want to just raid log , than yeaaa , you will have to cough up the dough .

If only I realized I should have had gathering professions on my main instead of maxed tailoring and enchanting with every single recipe in the game that I can’t sell due to people having chat bots.
I’ve never done a single parse run in all of classic, as evident from my public wcl page. Nicolay on Earthshaker, Crusader Strike and Thunderstrike. Hell I rarely even get orange with probably top 10 best geared mage on the server.
Edit: Hack, I’ve run every single MC and BWL as a Winter’s Chill support, that’s how little I care about parsing.
Than why did you list all that stuff as if it is mandatory ? Or were you only trying to bring the price to 400 gold to show how expensive it is to raid OMG WTF NOOO .
You can very well run with run tum tuber surprise ( from DM ) , or just some random +8 stat food for 30 silver for 20 stack ( level cooking ?)
A couple of arcane elixirs ( not greater) and wizard oil ( Which you can make for free with your tailoring + enchanting)
SO what ? … with this you spent like 30 gold on raid instead of 400 ?
If you want add a couple of other lower level potions ( mana , spell power , whatever) for 30 silver each and you are set .
But yea if you want the top of the top , sure 400 gold .
Because I have enough respect for the people I raid with to bring every consumable that will help me do more damage or preserve my world buffs in an emergency. And I expect the same from them. If somebody came to a main raid I’m in with just 8 stat food and normal arcane elixir, I’d consider it a personal insult to me. Like he doesn’t give a damn about my time or my effort.
And yes, I make my own Brilliant Wizard Oil of course. The sell price of 15g I listed is less than a gold above the price of crafting mats (2 LBS, 3 Fireblooms, Enchanted vial), so yeah, I get mine for maybe 13g if I buy the mats on a good day.
And yes I cook my food too of course, I prefer 12 stat wolf steak for wbuff preservation over tuber because 10 int does next to nothing for a caster. I’d rather survive a trash hit once in a year with 120hp remaining than have 0.1% crit more. And yeah I could buy chimaerok chops for 6g a pop for double the bonus but I’m not insane.
I really hate this argument, just don’t use consumes and world buffs dude. Well why do you get levels, why do you get items then, why do you do anything in game? The point of an RPG, outside of the story, which I know by heart now, is to improve your stats, to get stronger via all means available to you in the game.
Well it is good we cleared that out , because that is a totally a YOU problem .
The raids do not require the above to be completed .
So if YOU want to bring the best consumables there are , because YOU want to complete the raid 15 minutes earlier , YOU will have to pay for it .
YOU chose to spent 400 gold instead of 30 for an increase in dps of 10-15%
There is nothing to cry about YOUR choices than .
Either suck it up and pay , or don’t pay live a happy life .
