I think we’ve seen the death knell of cloud gaming with nVidia’s restrictions on GeForce now. If nVidia couldn’t make cloud gaming pay for full time gaming no oen can.
Whether it’s 4080 in your or nVida’s computer it’s still somewhere and needs paid for. People forgot the cloud is just someone else’s computer.
Nintendo wouldn’t be able to bury Microsoft in lawsuits like the could a a small/indie company.
I’ve tried that. It’s decent and it works just fine, but I’m not having a great time with it. It just feels like WoW wasn’t really designed with it in mind, even though it works shockingly well.
I am however enjoying ESO on Steam Deck, but I play it very casually. It’s very clear immediately that ESO plays a bit like Skyrim, and it was made as a console experience, so ESO inherits that.
Huh? My Steam Deck stayed cool even when playing Control or Crysis Remastered on it. I see no reason why WoW would murder it.
You may not use them all but classic has way more abilities. Retails most classes have a 4-6 button rotation and then defencives cds movement etc. you don’t need to guy them to play at a reasonable level
I don’t want the whole game to go mobile, but the auctionhouse, crafting and heroic/raid resets is mobilefriendly… (and roaming around cities.) Maybe follower missions too.
I have given it some thoughts during my years of playing, and i have compiled a destinct vision of what a globally interesting game would be (for non gamers/extreme casual gamers aswell), and im glad i can sedate of some of the hardcore elements that continuously appear in forums.
