When Blizzard made the Anniversary realms, we were given the choice of whether to play on those realms, or on the Era realms. The Era realms were kept as they were, much closer to the classic experience. This is in line with what we were told back in 2021, when Era was declared a “living museum” of classic gameplay by Blizzard.
The changes announced today, with dual spec and dungeon finder coming to Era, breaks this promise. Those of us who kept playing on Era specifically chose not to play on Anniversary due to changes like this. Now, when Anniversary moves to the next expansion, these changes we chose to avoid by staying on Era are suddenly forced upon us. It makes no sense to me.
As individuals we have little might, but if all the long time loyal Era players speak together we have a voice. I urge those opposed to these changes to voice your opinions.

Flagged for spam. There are already multiple topics expressing dissatifaction with coming era changes.
Stop speaking for others than yourself and a few friends. Lots of long time era players support the coming changes and you know this.

It’s interesting how so few supporting changes, and berating those opposed to them, post on this forum with a character that is active on era.
I post on this one since I used to be a forum green-poster MVP back in the day with this char. It’s always been my forum char. On Era I have four 60s

And guess what? Chat is VERY active in Anniversary still. People in ERA and even still in Anniversary, are very much using LFG Bulletin Board addon ( aka what you will get now ).
I am 99% that you both are using LFG Bulletin Board as we speak in ERA.
Am I right?
PS: LFG Bulletin Board has been downloaded by almost 9 mil in the past 4 years. Who do you think downloaded this many ? From ERA of course.

Somewhat ironic considering im the one posting with an era char, while op is posting with a retail chair. Besides, im not berating him for opposing changes, but for claiming to be the sole representative of long time era players.
Negative campaining is always stronger than positive. Check out the forums and you will see hardly any1 letting know they are happy about something. All ppl do is moan and complain on the forums.
Most spectacular own goal I’ve seen in a while. Apparently some1 with a retail char is now a more credible era player than someone who actually posting from an era char.

I beg to differ, you were the one bringing it up in the first place.
That said - let’s keep the discussion civil, people. No one gets anywhere with a flame war. Post some arguments for your views and avoid targeting people. We are all entitled to our opinions, and this is something a lot of us care a lot about.
