ETA on fix for server lag?

Well, I've made a U.S. account as per instruction here
https://eu.battle.net/forums/en/wow/topic/13902231275

Basically you just have to click the link https://us.battle.net/account/management/add-game-trial.html?type=WOWT

And guess what? I will be able to make a character and post on the U.S. forums where Blizzard stuff gives more attention to customers.
Same here.. The game says I have around 27 - 29 MS, but it feels like 200 - 300 MS. This was not an issue in Legion!

As Neurotoxin pointed out, US forums are being ignored, too.
There might be a higher response-rate on there, but the results are the same.

Loads, upon loads of people complaining with the same issues as we do.
Most of which, if they do get a blue reaction, get the same lame copy-paste FAQ-related responses we get over here.

EDIT:
I stand slightly corrected.

In the Oceanic latency topic there's actually some blue posts aknowledging that there is 'something' going on that they have to/are investigating as you can see in the following blue posts from oceanic:

We are not placing blame on individual systems, we are attempting to obtain data on how connections are being routed so that we can look at why they are being routed that way. I apologize if that wasn't clear.

That would be assuming that the servers aren't also being investigated, or have been investigated and ruled out. We try to keep you guys in the loop as much as possible, but some issues take longer than others to determine root cause.

For the time being, please continue to post connection diagnostic results so that we can forward them on. They do help, and are greatly appreciated.

I've been keeping my eye on the situation here and with the investigation while I was away, and wanted to follow up with you all on what we’ve found. Because these problems tend to be clustered around certain times, it took us some time to get all the testing done.

We took a look over a lot of these winMTRs and had our Quality Assurance team try to reproduce the issue in real-time on your servers. We haven’t seen any server instability which would be causing this on our end, and when we went in to test, we didn’t find the same issue you all have been reporting, even when we actively joined the same shard some of you were on while reporting issues.

Based on the more recent MTRs that have been posted, we're not seeing much of a pattern in routing outside of some local connectivity issues. We're seeing some packet loss and increases in latency along the route in some examples, but nothing that is consistent between each report. I'm disappointed that I don't have better news here guys, but we just weren't able to reproduce this. It may be best to try troubleshooting these individually.

Hey guys, while I can't promise anything at this time, we've once again pushed this to the quality assurance team. It seemed really weird to us, and we agree that the behavior doesn't add up for individual user or ISP issues, so we're trying some different reproduction steps. I know we've been asking for a lot of tests, but we'd like to have as much information as possible for users having issues after the time of this post. The next time you see the issue, please post another winMTR so we can have more examples of the issue being ongoing.

I know this has been a really frustrating process so far, and apologize for all the confusion on the way. We hope to have some more useful updates going forward.

It'd be nice if we would get some official acknowledgment about this issue on the EU forums.
Some blue post, some sticky or whatever.
Not all that defensive crap that we are getting which keeps blaming our local network or ISP.
Especially since on the other server-locations they are obviously aknowledging the problem that we, too, are reporting =/
I'm laughing now at their 'time spent' metric cos my 'time spent' playing has gone through the floor cos of this crap.
Unless they're gonna start including 'time spent' not bothering to log in anymore.
Stormsong valley server is location where..? in china? because since day one of BFA it's unplayable.
6 pages, 107 replies, and discovery of the same problem on US/NA/OCE servers ..

Yet no reply from blizzard.

But open a new topic, post a problem, and you get a fast copy-paste FAQ reply -_-
STILL waiting for some information BLIZZARD.
When Blizzard doesn't respond to complains and do their best to ignore them it actually means:

A) we see no problem on our end, did you restart your computer,
B) do you use addons, btw thank you for you sub,
C) we noticed a negative attitude from you, careful now or we will ban you,
D) well right now we have to many single posts of Silk Cloth, have you heard of paid character transfer?

How do you guys interpret the silence?
I tried doing warfronts and I get constantly phased in and out with rares appearing/disappearing, and the lag is like 5 seconds. When I am in other areas I do not have this issue. After all we are paying per month to have issues like that fixed and to ensure a smooth game experience...

E) We don't care, pay our more and shut up.

the other day one of the blue's recomended uninstalling discord because some one was having conection issues,
have you tried uninstalling discord?
how about doing a clean install of windows and just installing Bnet and WoW?
please keep giving us money while we try and come up with more BS to avoid admitting that we dont have a single clue as to what is going on
thank you

Hey Kyriel,

thanks for the heads-up on this one, I checked on Kilrogg for you and nothing out of the ordinary as far as I can see. Medium pop realm, so should be ok.

Also haven't seen any tickets on this from you yet that indicates we had a deep-dive so could you drop the following via Pastebin for me so I can check:

*Obtaining System Files
*Running WinMTR

Once we have these we can try and help you better, thanks in advance!

No tickets you say? Allright good subbmited it as a bug, I created it a a suggestion and my gf working on a ticket with all your stupid diagnosis, wasting her time because your servers are on fire but you still demand it to post that ticket.

Also I can confrirm here that warfronts on Argent Dawn are damn unplayable.

It takes some balls to come here and straight up lie in the face of players. Shame on you sir.

OH AND DONT FORGET TO ADVICE US TO DELETE WTF FILE AS YOU ALWAYS DO.

dont forget to power cycle your router and check for firmware updates and if that doesnt work contact your ISP
Check GPU temperature as well, might be causing you some packet loss.

How about reinstall winamp? These tips are the same.

I do not even have a discord, lol.

re-install winamp now that sounds like a great solution let me get right on that

At least it's a different and more creative suggestion than any blue copy-paste post from the FAQ x'D
So ofcourse, after creating a ticket about enormous lags on Argent Dawn, olmighty support answer was "contact your ISP".

*BEEEP* you blizzard you lying *BEEEP*.
I cannot login into either of my characters nor am i able to change my realm. Problem occurred the first time today

Reply with a link to this topic, and a link to the oceanic topic and tell them to contact their own ISP xD!
Are they SERIOUSLY saying "Contact your ISP" about the humongous -SERVER- lag on AD?

It's THEIR problem that THEY haven't had the logics to increase capacity of RP servers, since we're bigger - not sharded (since it's freaking immersion breaking in an RPG) - and we also need to access these types of contet... cause we PAY for it.

Gosh this is so frustrating
My ISP it's fine.... try to "reinstall" winamp muahahahaaha or get a dialup connection since blizzard cannot handle an fiber optic connection :)))
