Made a char yesterday and a full epic 60 on her epic mount ran by me (probably to flex in a starting zone?). Another guy, full T3, was idling at starting zone as well. They gave me a reality check that this is indeed by no means fresh and I’m just kidding myself.
Besides, the server is open to migrations from any GDKP inflated 5-year-old era servers and their countless T3 characters, any time they want.
So i ended up quitting. Will play at an upcoming fresh private server instead.

there are 4-5 lvl 60’s on the server, we don’t invite people above lvl 9 in the guild. Have fun on bug infested, corrupt private servers.

I was an officer on the Horde side during the previous restoration initiative a little more than a year ago. We really put our everything to make things start working again back then, and it did for some time.
Unfortunatelly, our momentum was interrupted with the release of Diablo IV and WoW HC back on that summer, and as the restoration effort took a toll on us, we didn’t have the energy to fight the dissapointment of seeing the numbers of the people we had gathered decreasing.
I’m sure you can still find our previous forum posts all around, and the Discord servers we created still exist with all the people we recruited.
Very happy to see you guys keep going and keep living the dream there!
Zandalar Tribe is definitely a special place and its unique situation can offer some of the best mmo-community experiences due to how close and unified under one goal its members are. I’m talking from personal experience and sharing the opinion of others, as well.
For anyone reading this, don’t let the population number discourage you. If you really want a shared gaming experience with a tight, super friendly and supportive community; then this is the place!
To the new restoration initiative members: If you feel that any of our previous forum posts, efforts, discord servers or anything really can help you, let me know and I will do my best to help you and support you.

I love this, forever cliche catch phrase, “upcoming fresh private server”… i look back and i remember Everlook managed by White Kidney, with staff members jumping ship soon after release, other staff members spawning mobs for certain people and then later on another hyped up project called Sanctuary that was very much dead on arrival showing utter incompetence with drama soon starting within the staff ranks and in this day and age is almost empty of people and one can even use hacks/cheats in there like flying…
I understand that some of you love to shine private servers balls but most of them have been only a cesspool for bs and incompetence.

What a joke server…
Immediately after logging in I received a guild invitation (alliance side). I was just setting up the UI and probably hit the Esc button. A short time later a level 1 character came into the starting zone and said FU to me.
Please what I said, the answer was you rejected the invite.
Well hello new world, that’s what I call a warm welcome for a fresh char…

Dude, someone said “FU” to you in-game and you are A. Still going on about it. B. Letting it for some reason get to you. and C. Using it to label a whole server and community while knowing full well it’s an online game with a mix of personalities/character traits.
I don’t play on this server but applaud the people building it for trying, maybe you should do the same and stop using the fact that one person said “FU” to you in an online game (3 days ago) as a beating stick to put the whole thing down. Are you the type that wants whole company’s destroyed on social media because one employee got your pronouns wrong? Cos it sure is giving that vibe.
What is it exactly that you want? or want to achieve from constantly highlighting the above?
Get that cancel culture mentality out of your head and grow a pair, either take part or don’t. The guy who said “FU” doesn’t care 3 days on, why do you?
EDIT: Also, from reading your post above you didn’t get whispers…you got A whisper from ONE individual. I can see what you are doing by trying to imply it was multiple and a group of people. Again…grow a pair.

Tbh the answers to Redrum’s concerns have been either condescending or disrespectful.
Telling others to grow a pair and then everyone in the thread upvoting it doesn’t paint the community in a good light at all. Not enough to paint a community with the same coat of paint but a red flag none the less in my eyes.
Still good luck on the fresh project, not like Blizzard is going to be giving players a good alternative any time soon.

If you want to fight his battles for him go ahead but I would ask that you define condescending or disrespectful because that is exactly what poor little redrum was being.

I was very intrigued when I read about Project fresh on the NA server Deviate Delight. Is this the place to be if I want to be a part of that without playing in a completely different timezone? Or is there another thing going on in EU that is comparable to that?
