Say what you want about Asmongold, but he is the biggest WoW streamer. No way to beat around the bush, he has the ability to command the largest army of sheep to follow him anywhere he goes.
And yet even he thinks that playing Alliance on Faerlina is a lost cause. He has more than 3 guilds full of 60s that could potentially turn the tide of any World PVP event, but he struggles to fill even 1-2 raids.
If that isnt proof that Alliance just isnt a PVP-oriented faction I dont know what is.
It’s proof that the huge faction imbalance make it near or really impossible to fight back if you play the less dominant faction. I like PVP but what is going on now is not that, it’s just pure non stop griefgankfest which ruins the game.
Yeah, but Faerlina should be even or Alliance-dominated, after all its the Asmon server. There has to be a f*ckton of Alliance because they want to be part of the Asmon server.
You will have to ask them, I don’t follow that guy and don’t care tbh. Probably some of them had reasons like: it’s fotm faction, I like the pvp racials better, I like the lore, I always played horde, It’s the dominant faction etc. Sadly not everyone knew what sh.t pservers were and how “wpvp” was handled there and only came with vanilla wow experience…
No, an anecdote isn’t proof of anything. I won’t say anything about faction imbalance one way or another, but one case of a player in a realm, whoever that is, shows nothing.
Well he doesn’t really inspire ppl xD Also he’s not that knowledgeable when it comes to classic world PvP. Pair that with mediocre leadership skills and you have a recipe for disaster. I expect most of his guildies to be casuals who prefer the PvE aspect of classic so it’s not a surprised they don’t want to subject themselves to being camped for hours.
I never understood what sort of cuck you have to be, to blindly follow random guy who streams, and just handout free stuff to some guy who probably laughs at your stupidity the second the stream closes.
Streamers are no better than “instagram models”
No, you don’t need leadership skills, but it certainly helps. He also seems to get demoralized very fast which then lowers morale of the rest of his raid. When people see that fewer will join in future raids and it just gets worse and worse. By the looks of it horde started as the underdogs when fighting Asmon and his zerg, but through a bit of decent leadership and organisation they’re now making him want to transfer off the server xD He can’t handle what he said he was going to do to them is now being done to him. It seems to me he’s just not up to the task of organizing a proper response to deal with the consequences of his own words. I get that he just doesn’t enjoy that social aspect of the game, which is fine. He just wants to chill and do some raids.
But I also look at Asmons stream and see more community engagement than my entire server has. If you want to be part of something big, you just have to follow someone or have the reach to create it yourself.
