So you have a grand total of zero idea of what the game is like in an arena match, with two teams facing off and acceptable gear.
Running around in random BGs to die with a guy with berserk saltwater isntreally pvp.

was in a solo shuffle, which guess what is an arena
now go to the next rogue thread and try your luck there
Why people care about what played on the AWC? Most people will never queue into a game on that level.
Game should be balanced around the ladder. Pro players play with almost no mistakes and most of them will not take a risk and change their working comp.
Everyone might be playing outlaw on AWC but when you queue the ladder most thing you face is Holy/Demo/X.
Shaman needs to use two cooldowns to respond to two cooldowns that would otherwise kill them, outrageous!
Valid point for 1v1. In an arena setting though, your healer should have a trinket ready. If not, a misplay has been made.
Why shouldnât it? It would be vendetta sepsis btw.
No ability should oneshot a target. Thatâs bad game design.
This is something Iâve wondered for a long time.
I donât really play pvp myself, my connection is far too bad from where I live, but I love watching it like a sport. I remember warriors and death knights used to be somewhat of a counter to rogues, with overpower and rune strike cancelling out their evasion.
But now, for the life of me, I canât see what would be a direct counter to rogues.
Then why thay hard focus on Sepsis ? Rets under CDs kill an unwalled target faster than NF Assa. WW as well. Fire Mage are comparable. Ele can do it too. Etc etc. Make your complaints a bit more general if that really is your feeling.
Alarm, alarm, false logic.
Listen, 99â of Awc players know weaknesses of other classes and most of them multi class. Despite all the knowledge and resources they have, there is just no counterplay or counter comp to RMP, best attempt was made by TSG with Druid and even they failed.
If Kungarna for example just play 1 comp throughout the season with only 1-2 covenant changes, that comp either needs to be nerfed or other comps need to be brought up RMP Level to compete.
If all those 10+ years experienced awc players canât counter RMP whole season and Kungarna end up almost undefeated, how can we expect that from ordinary 1700crgodx people.
it doesnt. I have an ele alt and experienced it myself. I am not the best ele. Sitting around 2.2 cr in 2s but if you insta trinket and wall + aegis you are never dying through. If you are half hp when the stun connects or if you wait too long and wall at low hp you will die but otherwise no.
jup thats when your mate needs to safe you which isnt possible every time thats why assa is really strong and kinda a counter to elemental.
if you still did not realize that we are in a cd trading meta then idk how to help you. Its literally the only thing you really need to take care of when playing against nightfae assa. Is it stupid? yes. It it overpowered/broken? Not at all.
i doubt it happened that way but if you link a clip where it happened just like that i take everything back i said.
its not one ability. Its two major cooldowns + stunlock and you still have atleast one second to react.
Because 1700crgodx people does not play against Kungarna, they play aganist roguegodx magegodx RMP which leaves gaps in every go and mostly playing with a sub instead of an outlaw.
Do you really think average RMP players at 2000 rating can cross cc 3 enemy players + pets on every go? If they could, we would face RMP every game instead of Demo/Lock/X.
The problem isnât the rogue (whatever the spec) mostly the Mage itself cause they got too much absorb/passive heal on low CD and they got cdr with nfae.
Also canât punish or setup them cause they blink out of every stun with the most dumb and toxic talent possible (should be removed completely)
And they got 4 magic school this xpac that makes them unstoppable even if they fail or you kick something.
So yeah rogue are super strong but outside rmx they donât look unbeatable at all. (for example rps or thug the most common rogue spec after rmx).
Because this thread is about rogues, not retri or ww. Just because retri is broken, doesnât mean Sepsis is okay to do what it does. No relation whatsoever
Itâs not one ability, itâs three minimum.
Still kinda oof that it solokills through PS though. But that might be PS being a joke button rn. Itâs annoying that it forces a trinket no matter what.
While they seem to be overtuned rogues keep in check a lot of bullcrap that I donât want to see, like ele/x, but I play different priests comps (not with a rogue, heh) around 1.9k so ymmv.
Not seen that happen from 100-0 with an Assa and Disc with equal gear. Any clips?
Itâs annoying that offensive abilities force a defensive trade? You want to be able to just tank offensive CDS or something?
What do you main out of interest?
In this particular case itâs annoying that a high PS is not enough to deal with the cheese.
Whatâs also annoying is offensive CDs lasting pretty damn long, paired with melee mobility as to where kiting their CDs without using any of your own major ones is near unfeasable. But that last part is not applicable to Assa.
Iâll try and find one to back this up. If my words worth anything, I just tested it yesterday outside Org with a rogue of similar gear (± 5 ilvl) and PS was not enough to live the kidney.
Lots of things 1 shot people that are âunwalledâ so why is Sepsis so special? if you donât react to CDâs vs almost any class atm you die, itâs that simple.
That was a really bad statement to make xD
you can ask the dk somewhere in the solo shuffle thread i posted before, he can confirm lol
also happened about 3 times in a row, so I didnât even need to trinket because i walled etc. before the rogue opened and I still died in 3 seconds while stunned and silenced etc.
I got even 1 instant chain harvest off in between, that healed me for like 15k but still died
Sepsis isnât special and on the worse end of the things that oneshot. Oneshots in general are pretty damn annoying to deal with from the perspective of anyone who isnât pressing said oneshot at the moment though.
If you can die 100-0 to a single player with a wall up in a stun, while said wall is still running, thats when I call bs. Thatâs just obnoxious design.
