Every single aspect of this game somehow got "annoying" and I think I'm not exaggerating

Imo the problem is that everything just has milion difficulties. There should be 1 difficulty for everything. 1 for dungeons. 1 fir raid and 1 for delves.

oh, man, thank you JORDAN B. PETERSON for the online diagnosis!

would you bet your house on this statement?

I will make an educated guess you are one of those ubiquituous elitists who are now in denial. lemme check.

oh right - 2,2 rio RIGHT NOW, 3,4 last time… huh oh well.
Thank you for coming here to prove my point and show the toxicity of elitists for everyone right here right now. You know ZERO things about me but you assumed not just the worst but spiteful vile worst xDDDDD
Much love**

PS: My favorite part is that quote

And then you proceed to spew the vilest game-related stuff you can say about another player on forum xDDD

But I’m most certainly content you just proved my point so hard - you are the kind of players who are absolutely worst of toxic ones - that thread you linked in your comment has someone mentioning that inviting higher rio players is a bad idea as they ruin runs now xD I can see why!

anyway, off to work i guess.
I half-expected hard denial or derailing the thread - it’s easier to boil the frog alive than explain the frog it’s being cooked, or something like that.

I totally agree. Today’s weekly mining quest requires 10 Bismuth and 2 Null stones for 3 KP. The profession system seems to have been designed by people who don’t bother with professions at all, just threw together random stuff and called it a day.

lmaoooo

btw, these null stones are required for certain low usefulness crafts and it’s just peak bad design. like green profession tools or temporary buffs for prof tools / weapons xDD Like why… that makes it so cringey expensive it’s just better… never craft it until late TWW when null stone will be 200 g a piece?

You said you were not subbing anymore and were going to leave the game.

And what do you do with the last days of your sub ? Come here and whine. 100% smart.

I would. Show me your rio. Post with your main.

I have played with enough people in this forum to have my alliby. If you are a nice and respectful person you earn my respect.

If you are a big-mouthed know-it-all like you… you dont earn my respect and I will call you out. And if by any chance you end up in a group with me, you will get insta kicked. And if its your key, I will wait to start it to insta leave. I dont care how “pro” you are.

If you happen to be Ammonet, Mistjo, Dejarous, Tah… just to name a few… I will gladly spend my afternoon and 5000g in repairs wiping in a 5+ I have to… And I will say thank you for the opportunity.

If people are idiots like you, you will get treated like an idiot. If you are nice, you will be treated with respect.

I have proven that with my past statements. And by playing with a lot of people, and a lot of PuGs. And even with individuals on this forum.

So yeah… you proved your own point to yourself. You are Toxic… and people will be Toxic to you. Its like in RL. You will have ZERO friends in RL if you keep treating people bad… and will live your life completely alone…

← Door is that way. Stop wasting our time and leave. I dont care about your dumb excuses anymore.

The toxicity will be even worse with the removal of depletion. Don’t like this group, leaves to form new one. Doesn’t like the way tank pulled, kicked, reform. Insert whatever lame excuse, disbands etc.

Getting into groups will remain equally hard and to then on top of that it will be even worse to get into groups that don’t disband at the drop of a hat. Yes leavers can be an issue but the bulk of my keys do not have them. It’s annoying to have them but it’s going to be ten times worse if people are wasting your time every time you join a group, because as well as leavers you now have disbanders/kicking leads who just want to keep starting over.

It doesn’t solve the issue just adds more problems.

Wierd I constantly see this complaint but I never see it actually happen even when I’m active in chat or general. It’s almost like every time someone uses this excuse they’re leaving out something huge

Retail is wayyyyy more played than classic, and people nowdays will never like classic gameplay and style only people that like that are the nostalgic old wow players, and i do agree wow does need changes and it feels dead when you play a DPS class just bcs nobody plays tank and healers and everyone loves to play DPS so i think removing tank and healers from the game and making the game around DPS class might save it from the long que, but that is kinda wierd wow without tank or healers…

Its the 2nd time we agree this week. Am I having feelings for you ?

It wont. The holy trinity exists because division of labour is more efficient than the sum of its parts.

If you make the game DPS only… the tank will become the “tankiest DPS” with 100% utility and survival talents. DDs would simply go with out those talents and full DD. And healers will become the DD that can off heal the best.

So a team of Prot Warrior, Holy Pala and 3 DDs would transform into :

  • Arms warrior with a shield and def stance
  • Ret Pala with full offheal/utility talents
  • 3 DDs.

Because that is more efficent that simply 1 arms warrior, 1 ret, and 3 DDs.

The ONLY way to get rid of the holy trinity is to homogenize every class. So everyone plays a Ret Pala for example.

It’s almost like there’s some things most sane people can agree on :grinning:

Why not just be more casual and do some other things in-game that bring you enjoyment? I’ve been on a 4-week vacation, and my WoW habit got a bit too sweaty. Honestly, I’m almost glad I won’t have as much time to spend in-game and can go back to my super casual routine—logging on, exploring the world, doing some quests or an easy dungeon, maybe hunting for transmog or mounts, and then logging off.

Staying away from Blizzard’s intended way of playing the game can be quite a relaxing experience if you find things to enjoy beyond the endgame.

Also please feel hugged (: You sound burnt out. Take care of yourself.

It’s because WoW is one of those games where many older people play that have the best part of 20 years invested in it. Hard to let go because you really want it to be not good but great again.

Just play at a casual level. The game is designed to turn people into loot junkies. I am immune to physical and psychological addiction and it’s tons of fun for me just chilling, doing some keys or collecting current t mog sets that I want.

Considering the max reward for most people is Portals it’s impossible to actually “fall behind”. There will always be people trying to get them.

Thinking you’ll fall behind is like me thinking my son won’t win the Soccer Ball World Championship unless he trains everyday from before he can even walk. He’s never going to win the Soccer Ball World Championship under any circumstances. Ever.

I agree , told my guildies i’m taking a long break from wow.

Problem I’m having is , this expansion is supposed to be all about alts. But my gaming experience on my alts is exactly the same. The same route to progression. That’s boring me to tears.

I got curve already , the raid wasn’t fun imo. It’s just a set of annoying task until you reach the end.

What sucks is that this end game is all we got for 6 months , I know the anniversary stuff is coming up. But imagine we didn’t, this is it , until March-April next year.

I think a break is needed on my part. WoW isn’t exciting me anymore. Maybe i need to miss it. I’ve been playing it non stop everyday for years.

I don’t know about you guys… but I’m having a blast, I’m taking it slow in completing the quests in az kahet, spamming delves have allowed me to progressively gear myself for PvE whilst spamming Blitz in order to gear my pvp stuff, solo or with guildies and friends. I haven’t felt pressurised in any manner and don’t need to spend half hour in queue for a 10vs10 rbg or to assemble a group for M+ in search of the lost tank/healer while I can do stuff by myself or friends with basic stuff like delves or casual pvp.

No one is saying you’re wrong.
I believe you’re having a blast and I’m happy for you.
I just think i’m going through serious burnout.
I’m playing other games , watching movies and tv series i’ve wanted to watch for a while. But kept putting it back due to wow stuff.
I think it’s healthy for some of us to just , log off , enjoy something else and no i’m not saying it has to be necessarily outside.

tldr.

Maybe it’s time for you to just let WoW go.

Just take it easy, do different activities or get involved with your guildies, or not, I know it’s a tricky one cause I usually feel like this at every end of a season, so what I do is play couple of games (BGs or dungeon runs) with the odd world questing and log off.

But I would say don’t do a content that is going to tire you whilst doing it for hours and hours of the same thing, variety helps.

I have the same feeling, I fully understand all of the above. There’s nothing new, just a faint copy of old events.
