I don’t know if later on it gets strong, but now the damage it does is minuscule. And usually you want to use Slice & Dice + Expose Armor at the same time and usually in a single mob fight, you don’t get to build up that many points for one skill.
Like if I spend my whole type building up points to cast a 5-Point Eviscerate it will only take more time than using 1-Point Expose Armor and Slice & Dice.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but the skill feels absolutely useless at level 19.
Eviscerate factors in your attack power which, at level 19, is very low.
It scales incredibly well so don’t be disheartened. Once you acquire gear with higher Agility you will start to see massive, massive gains in your Eviscerate damage.
Also, how far off from the next rank are you? Eviscerate is really strong on the level where you get the latest rank but it drops off quickly. At level 31 it feels really weak and hits for the same as a sinister strike crit at 5-points, but at 32 I unlocked a new rank
now i dunno what lvl u are for some reason my armory wont update so im also guessing ur higher lvl than ur avatar…
but at lower lvls its not worth spending points on SnD… u will do alot more dmg just spending them on evis since targets die so fast… im lvl 35 atm and im only using SnD if the targets have really high health…
Dont use SnD until you get rank 2 - just SS and Evis rinse repeat
Yeah, it isn’t too strong early on. Very early it’s better to simply do another SS to finish the mob off rather than use Eviscerate. But at 60…

things do not work the same way at 60 as they do levelling in westfall
Iirc Evi does not scale at all with AP in Classic.

don’t worry, eviscerate is actually potentially even stronger in 1.12 because it scales with stats, so you can really do some massive dmg once you have a lot of gear.
evisc didn’t scale early on in vanilla, but it felt completely broken because during that time people didn’t have gear
yeah evis is kind of crap on leveling indeed
