Evoker: An awesome class locked behind a hideous race

It definitely goes both ways.
I think the 1 race 1 class combo was a HORRIBLE decision on Blizzard’s part.

Hey now…
Be a good little cute fox and apologize!

I main Drakthyr and I don’t mind them but they do have some flaws, like their small heads and the way they run. IMO they should’ve made an actual dragon race, not dragonkin or anything in-between, but an upright full on dragon standing up on its hind legs, like those dragon laguz from Fire Emblem. I did suggest in the forums afew times but I’m afraid Drakthyr were already well underway in development.

Lore wise it can be explained easily just have the different races be visage form options

I would be happy with that. Also letting Dracthyr STAY in visage. Quite literally anything just to never see the dragon form ever again.

Very true. I basically play every caster at this point except the abomination called Dracthyr. I almost puke looking at dracthyr for more than 5 minutes at once, and no amount of customization can fix this hideous dragon form sadly. I tried so many things to make it not look like a human in a dragon furry costume, but it’s mission impossible. Their human forms are ok imo though. I could put up with those for sure

Tbh, I think tinkers would be cool as a “spec” for every character with engineering, but once you go engineer, you can never go back, so ppl don’t abuse it

draenei u mean. forsaken are not tinkerers kek

Evoker is old news, we still need the tinker class
Vote tinker for 11.0

I wouldn’t call it abomination, but yeah, it’s not great.
When you spend a few minuted on Google looking up concept arts for Dragon-kin races, you then realize how much we got screwed.

Not for me.

As I said, super Ugly are most horde races, but not Dracthyr.

I love my Dracthyr, i even like the slightly modified human and elf visage forms.
In combat you’re spending most of your time viewing the fight from a ww2 bomber perspective or viewing your character from behind anyway.

Which from behind i’d have to say Dracthyrs are pretty good looking (No dirty thoughts)
Animations for the wings and tail are just great and empowered animations are good at telepgraphing your charge.

I’m happy with this race, I love reptiles and all kind of lizards, and being a Dracthyr is also cool, if anyone dislikes it, you got all the other races available.

I love how every day I see completely different and unique Drachthyrs, and I like almost all of them.

It would work if not the fact that the class is locked behind the ugly lizards, so there is no alternative in other races.
Same with DH for me, I play only Alliance and there is no other choice than night elves that I loathe.

I do support the concept of enabling you to remain in full visage form while out of combat and during combat, but frankly I like this new race because it is unique in the sense that they weren’t supposed to be part of either faction, at the end of the day you got to play this game with the mindset that you simply want to have fun, make friends, and just have a good time rather than getting stuck because of a race, and of course you are free to complain but you are not forced to play this race/class either

Firstly, their visage forms are also disgusting in current state at least, secondly, I do not feel forced to play them, I simply do not play lizards and DH. I just do not like the idea of classes being locked by certain races, especially when the race choice is horrible for me, but it is what it is, only hope it will get changed somewhen.

We can only hope.

They were planned as a representation for LGBTQIA

Gender fluidity and all that. Representing trans or not.

I think that’s the idea they could be whatever you wanted them to be. There’s no gender anymore in wow.

That’s up to one’s own interpretation.

It’s not to start a fight or a debate. It’s more of a message of play how or who you want to be.
