This has been hotfixed now, but the new Evoker class apparently had 100% drop chance on the Sha of Anger and Nalak flying mounts, which normally have a 1/2000 drop chance…
What’s going to happen to those who obtained the mounts before this was hotfixed (I was not one of those, but still, I’m curious)?
You can check the “WoW Achievements” discord, to name a few, where people are spamming they got these mounts in time… For someone who has farmed these mounts for literal years, this is ridiculous…
I been farming sha for the last four years. And now people been abusing a bug to have it drop 100%. It’s beyond incompetent from blizzard and there should be a roll back.
It’s not about being entitled. It’s about owning up when you are at fault.
I have to agree on this point, especially since they are renown as being some of the hardest mounts to get in game. This should be rolled back as a sign of respect to those who worked and are still working hard to get the mount.
At this point, instead of removing it from the people that got it, I would much prefer for them to increase the drop chance to something like 1%.
It is 100% blizzard’s mistake and it would suck for the people that got it to be removed (since most of them were regular farmers that also did the farm on their new alt, before it became widely known)
P.S: I did NOT get the mount, and I have like 20 alts parked there with coins on a weekly basis (800 tries atm).
Lowering the drop chance, as a result of a patch exploit, seems entirely counter productive when all they have to do is remove the mounts from those who got it through this unintended bug. No need to tarnish the the integrity and rarity of the mounts.
No word about this from Blizzard, so I guess they would rather turn a blind eye and allow people to keep these mounts obtained through an exploit, rather than correct the problem fully. Who would have thought?!..
Giving a mount, that people tried to get for years, away for free because of a bug, and not doing a rollback is the most incompetent bull**** I’ve ever seen a game developper do. Out of words. But hey, I guess why even bother, when you can also buy it for real money on black market ah, right? Your time was wasted to begin with
